I would imagine the 'happiest' countries in the world are countries which don't need to have polls asking them if they are 'happy'. :LOL:

I thought Dom Joly was ok last night, enjoyed his tale of attending a Quaker School, in the hills above Beirut, where Osama Bin Laden was also a pupil 😁
Nick Abbot's show was good, the amount of callers he had on was great, O'brien barely manages 3 calls per hour at times.
Henry Riley is better at just filing reports for the Ferrari show, Henry is a poor radio show presenter.

I suppose they are just trying out various behind the scenes reporters at a quiet time of the year when many of the regular "squad" want time off? Thank god no Purkiss!

Jimbo has blocked so many people on X he may not be aware. I doubt many in his echo chamber will mention it.

So he may get a shock on New Years Day.

Jobby rarely likes it when working-class people with no help from the establishment make a success of their lives/business, it runs so counter to his own 'success' story, where he recieved the very best education and all of Daddy's contacts in the newspaper trade.

I wonder if James would gracefully accept a New Years Honour from old Charlie boy? I think he'd be very discombobulated, having to doff his cap and tug his forelock ... but would his vanity allow him to refuse? Another one for Mystery Hour!

Good Lord. The honours list is a bit of a joke these days. There's always been gongs for the boys but it is becoming embarrassing. Tim Martin is not deserving of anything.

Still, I will expect James to explode all over Chiswick if TM gets a knighthood.

Creating a business that employs 40,000 people and paying £600m in tax makes him more worthy than a lot of recipients.

You are correct. It's easy to forget he is a very successful businessman. I think it's all got clouded with his Brexit views. I think he's probably getting a gong for that rather than his business acumen. He was a Tory donor but recently said on LBC he was going to vote for Keir Starmer and only voted for Boris because of Brexit.
