Fa-la-la-la-la-la.Ahh Christmas Eve morning, anticipation building, kids everywhere getting giddy, some tracking Santa on Norad. Last minute run around to get everything ready for the joyous day.
Put LBC on at 10am and Lammy's talking about assisted suicide

I was hearing a discussion on the radio last night, the dignitas clinic isn't even a clinic. It was described as like a car park and it's all very impersonal. I was a bit surprised. It would be good if we could do it better in the UK. Nice places with dedicated staff and families welcome as I don't think they are in dignitas due to laws.I presume that's being piped directly into the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland, just to gently nudge patients who may be having second-thoughts about ending their lives.
Yeah, there are all manner of regulations, with Esther Rantzen talking about her terminal cancer last week, I believe she said that only she will be allowed to travel to Switzerland when the time comes.I was hearing a discussion on the radio last night, the dignitas clinic isn't even a clinic. Under the Tories the Dignitas equivalent would probably be rock up at the Bibby Stockholm and bring your own lethal meds prescription (after waiting for the pharmacist to get hold of them)I was hearing a discussion on the radio last night, the dignitas clinic isn't even a clinic. The time to worry is when James O'Brien appears, Ndrangeta. You might get a whole new spin on the Ghost of Christmas Past!Andrew Castle appeared in a dream I had last night! I hope he's ok! We were both at a private function and I asked him if he was okay and why he wasn't on LBC. At first he kept going on about barristers/lawyers and then that his mum had died and he was taking it very hard. It was very vivid and quite a strange dream. Rees-Mogg of all people was in it too!? Anway ... it could be significant. More than likely though .. NOT. I think I need to get out more, I'm going bleeping bonkers ... still, I thought I'd share it while it was still fresh in my mind.
Seconded.Thank-you to Ian Payne for an excellent Christmas Day breakfast show. I don't think there are many on the LBC teamsheet who can carry the light and shade as well as he can, plus he's a good listener and allows people space to speak. A classs act.
That'll be me.I don't think he likes Christmas much...and prefers his own company?
I caught a bit of the phone-in from callers spending Christmas alone and it was refreshing to hear that some just enjoyed the day pleasing themselves..and why not?
It's a bit worrying how he seems to spend his time off binge watching TV. ☹
