They can hardly ignore what's happening. And I doubt if the flag-waving psychos at demos will have been solely inspired by a leader in the Mail or Mirror or Ferrari ranting on LBC.

It's not helped with people claiming the police will arrest you for waving a Palestinian flag which is not the case. They will be if it's used to incite violence and hatred. Big difference.

The police need to stamp down on this straight away and get a grip. (I don't hold out much hope)

Only 2 items are working on my Post Reply task bar. I can't tinker with the text or add smilies. Just me?

Try hitting the toggle icon (the little cog thing on the far right). If it's not that then I'm not sure what's up. Everything ok with me.

This is a good time to bury bad news .... keep your eyes peeled for other stories.

Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and hope she misunderstood what he was saying.

Was she replying to: "Hamas are the biggest threat to the Palestinian people"? I'm not quite sure how you could misinterpret that. I mean you could disagree with it and state why, but it seems like a perfectly acceptable observation. I mean, if Hamas didn't exist I think it's fair to say Palestinians would be safer. I presume she posted what she did to appeal to her 'demographic' ... so bleeping cynical. Having said that, I'm hoping more 'commentators' and 'celebrities' are going to start making complete fools out of themselves over this issue and show themselves up to be the intellectual minnows they are.

It would be good to hear Linecker, Vorderman, Dr Shula-Whatsit and all the luvvies make fools of themselves.

Their silence is deafening isn't it. Most queer. They are the worst kind of people ... Even if I vehemently disagree with someones position I'll respect it if they stand by it. But by saying nothing when you've got a history of being a gobshite is so weaselly. Is that word? You know ... like Weasel.

Anyone else struggled to listen to LBC at all recently? Every hour I turn back to see what the topic is and it's about the war. EVERY HOUR. I caught 30 minutes of a chat for adoption week today and they trailed war talk for the next 2 hours so I switched off again. Why so much coverage of 1 topic for every single time slot.

I've been listening to very little this week. Tuned in a couple of times and then tuned straight out again. Nick Abbott has been ok. No war talk at all.

Great day at one of my favourite museums today. #IWM

Oh dear 🤣

I agree with Iain on this one. I'm not sure what Sangita found wrong with James Cleverly's original tweet.

I remember someone on here describing Sangita as being like someone who never grew out of student politics.

Things have got worse as she is now retweeting the support of Supertanskii which for those of you who do not visit her thread on here means she is desperate as well as associating herself with a nasty piece of work.

Jobby should be an interesting listen today. Unlike his woke chums, he can't stay silent, he's obliged to offer some kind of opinion.

Even the Guardian has had to come down off the fence. It's sacked Steve Bell, the scumbag cartoonist whose depiction of Netanyahu caused such a rumpus last year.

He should have been sacked years ago.

In the the bits I heard last week he was very disingenuous. I think it was very cynical because he knew he had to walk the line between keeping his Jewish consituency onside whilst not alienating his liberal, lefty fans. So on Monday he was very Pro-Isreali and condescending to anyone who tried to argue the point, including being quite unpleasant to a politics lecturer who rang-in. Then for the rest the week he slowly climbed down from his position, including issuing several mealy-mouthed apologies to the lecturer I just mentioned ... "I was a little impatient with certain callers earlier in the week". My guess is that some of the lefties had a go at him and he wet his pants. Poor James.

I think if he just lets intelligent, reasonable, people talk it'll be a good show. Otherwise I think he'll tie himself into knots trying to sit on the fence. I'll tune in at the start and see. Although if he starts having a go at the BBC I'll switch straight-off, I'm just not interested in listening to commerical media stations wanting to try and score points against its commercial rival. I want to actually gain some useful information, knowledge and insight.

...Oh god first two mins all about himself. Get bleeping on with it.

James gets a point from me for not slagging off the BBC and calling-out those who do, but then loses a point for defending Gary Lineker. Score draw. But then it's the, "I'm very humble, full of contrition, wouldn't never polarize debate on important subjects," bullshit. Someone else is going to have to listen in a report. I can't do it. LOL.
