Absolutely...It's Entertainment with a capital E. We don't need Big Brother anymore...Make good TV out of a bunch of misfits and keep giving them attention...The crazier they are the better. Faux empathy is de rigeur regardless what you really think....

I've been finding it hard listening to all the mental health charity appeals today. My experience has been that you're very much on your own with the more complex stuff. Sorry...Just my take on it.

I just posted this in the GB News thread, but I just read in the I newspaper that GB News might be eyeing-up Iain Dale to front a show. I don't think he would, but it puts him in a good negotiating position when contract renewal time comes around. Not sure how old Jobby would feel if Ian joined 'G-beebies'. :ROFLMAO:

I doubt Iain would leave a respected organisation like LBC for GB News. I can understand GB News approaching him though especially if they are trying to clean up their act and become a proper news channel.

They should "poach" Marina Purkiss instead to scramble viewers' brains :D ;)

Poor old Sir Kier. There he was, penciling all the interviews and photocalls in his diary; his Mum's bought a new scrapbook for the newspaper headlines, and war breaks out in the middle east. What a bummer. He's just praying that Corbyn keeps his mouth shut. He's already upset Iain Dale.

You always do this ... leave us hanging. What has Corbyn said/do? Let me guess, come out in full support of Hamas ... :ROFLMAO::cautious:

Sir Keir's middle name is Rodney....but he's no plonker.

He seems like a decent fellow to me. I wish him well. The volume of shite that will be poured on him from the Right-wing media if he becomes PM will be unprecedented. I have no idea who would actually want to endure that. Fair play to the fella! I also think the Tories will enact the Nero Decree (is it called that)? Where they essentially duck everything before they leave (tbf they've fucked everything already), so he's on a loser before he even starts. God it's grim. lol.

Maybe he'll hand over the poisoned chalice to Dame Angela 'ere long? She'll hoover up all the flak and spit it back at 'em.

It's pretty obvious Andrew Castle bases his whole view of the Israel - Palestine issue through the lens of this former Isreali doubles partner. It's bleeping sickening to listen to. So sickening in fact I've had to turn off. Listening to him makes me actually sympathize with Hamas! duck SAKE.

Are we spared our dose of Lammy-nitis this morning? Or is he broadcasting direct from the Labour Conference?

Andrew said he was coming on his show to comment about the situation in Israel. Thankfully I had turned-off and didn't hear his words of wisdom. I'm sure Benny couldn't be less bleeping interested in his views.

I think LBC set up studios at conferences. Ferrari and Dale did their shows from Manchester.
Most of the lefties have gone very quiet. Lammy seems to be expressing sympathy for Israel while subtly implying that they've brought it om themselves. Many of the world capitals - New York, Berlin, Rome - displaying the Israeli flag on public buildings. Sadly not London. Perhaps Mayor Khan forgot.
