Yeah, but you can tell he's a bit embarrassed when he says that. I'm old school ... and actually did my shorthand, he couldn't even be arsed to do that! Not that it's any use now ... but hey, it's the principle!! And if we don't have principles where the HELL ARE WE!!!! Grrrrr. :cautious: ;)
We are stuck in a perpetual rant on a commercial radio station, bigging ourselves up at every opportunity and churning out anger-fuelled "manuals" which actually have a spine..unlike the author.

It'll be interesting to hear Jobby's critique of the Labour Party conference. It kicks off on Sunday with Angela Rayner doing the Big Speech (as it's billed). If she's wearing one of her signature short skirts, let's hope she remembers her knickers.

There'll be the same time devoted to criticising Labour as the time I'll spend listening to JOB.

Meanwhile on the dark side, there's pages of hate for Tories, I think an LBC related post might have slipped in somewhere. There was this gem this morning

'They're a strange bunch of people who seemingly inhabit a universe where mirrors and shame do not exist'

Excellent set-to between Ferrari & a stop oil activist about a Les Miserables theatre show being disrupted 😁

I heard it. I am not a support of JSO, but initially Nick told her to let him have his say, and kept repeating that. Eventually when he let her talk he kept muttering underneath her voice. Then Nick made a statement; didn’t let her respond and thanked her for calling. Not very good interviewing style, Mr Ferrari, IMO !

Looks like Colin's beloved SNP are going to have their arses handed to them by Labour in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by election. Thought I'd drop the news in here as it's not going to be acknowledged anywhere on his timeline.

Yes, he was poor, Ferrari kind of lost control of the conversation.

He'll be delighted at Labour's win and apparent resurgence. Ironic that Sturgeon killed off her beloved SNP and all hope of independence with it.

Make Some Noise Day at Global. When it began most of the LBC presenters took part, auctioning off various activities which gave listeners a chance to meet the presenters. I can't remember many of them but I do recall somebody winning lunch with Nigel Farage for over £5k. Steve was the only one who kept it up, usually with a ride in his Bentley or tea at a posh hotel.

He also did his shows and sold merchandise like the tea towels or glasses. He probably brought in quite a bit for them.

Was it Priti Patel...that won lunch along with Karaoke with Farage?
😁

45 mins of ego, this show could be from 1 year ago, so repetitive.
Off switch

I agree with you Bobby, Ferrari over exerted. I think his frustration was that the Just Stop Oil spokesperson just parroted a mantra from a pre-prepared crib sheet and kept on talking without listening, she didn't engage in the conversation. That seems to be the tactic of most of the ones I've hard.

These protesters all seem so utterly devoid of humour, that's partly why I think many of them may have various borderline personality disorders. I've said it before but I'd just jolly Nick along and then thank him very much for the continued coverage!

I remember James MacBrien assuring us that the SNP were on the road to electoral triumph due to their rejection of the evil Brexiters and their racist bovine ideas. Surely he can't have been wrong?
He would say that you "misremembered" that!

Does anyone think that Holly Willoughby is just too oily for the JSO protesters to target?;)
