"James O'Brien graciously invites his loyal listeners to share in his Christmas morning around the family hearth...

Festive treats include a 12 Days of Brexit phone-in and a chance to win a giant gammon along with a signed copy of James' latest oeuvre which has received scintillating reviews from the Kidderminster Herald, Gary Lineker and Russell Brand.

Put aside your Tesco Value Christmas Dinner and join James as he cracks open the champagne and caviar...Celebrate in style even if you're down to your last penny.... James won't care because It's Christmas!"

Man cannot live on Schadenfreude alone

James was playing all the old hits this morning from the bit I caught.
---
Considering James is such a great journalist he doesn't seem to quite grasp the notion that this is a Tory conference aimed at dyed-in-the-wool Tory voters and people who are actually at the conference.

So predictable....

Mrs Jobbie could always be brought on as a reassurance-providing warm up act to the Book Flogging/ Flagging Tour? If she got paid to do it of course. Minimum wage and all that..Just to earn her crust.

Every day Jobby assures listeners that he's a journalist, but apart from parading his prejudices on LBC , and doing soft interviews on @joe, there's little evidence of genuine journalism. He never goes beyond his own narrow outlook or considers other points of view. He's rarely invited to share those views with the MM, in print or on TV. Iain D. and Ferrari are a constant presence on TV and in print, probably because they earn their fee by being able to express themselves without abusing others who don't conform to their viewpoint.

NOT LBC !!! If anyone is intereted tonight at 9pm on Boom Radio, you can hear the first of a two-part programme about the History of Capital Radio (Many Capital Returns). Tonight and tomorrow night.

Next Sunday, 8th October, anniversary of LBC opening there is a day of reminiscing on Boom, with presenters from many stations across the UK, recalling their station's first day. The only ex-LBC presenter is Bill Bingham from 10pm (presumably David Jessel, Janet Street-Porter, Paul Callan et al are not available !)
