Anyone have any thoughts on this woman?

I recently came across her through a TikTok haul for her 10 year olds birthday gifts, and was absolutely SHOCKED she'd purchased for a child who was yet to go to secondary school a hoody from a company famed for thong bikinis, a makeup bag from a lingerie store again targeted towards adult women and basically a full face of Charlotte Tilbury and Dior makeup, shimmery body lotion/sunscreen, and Sol de Janeiro body sprays when her apocrine sweat glands won't be anywhere near fully formed 😐

Please tell me this isn't normal!

just found her tiktok recently and wondered if there would be a thread about her.
I dont think its always the norm,my daughter is a year younger and she does mention the odd thing that laura's bought.
I do think a lot of it possibly comes from the parents wants and interests and if you let your primary school aged child on tiktok and instagram (which i dont believe anyone should) theyre bound to see all the viral beauty stuff etc on there.
i do think its important to keep our children children and the expensive make up is slightly ott

Slightly?! 😭😭😭 I understand kids liking to experiment with makeup these days, I do...But if it's just a creative outlet and you want to buy them some stuff to play around with, surely there's Claire's Accessories, Primark and Barry M to do "kid makeup"

After seeing the shocking birthday haul I then watched a few more of hers on tiktok where you can see this poor little girl has full on smoked out eye makeup and contour/bronzer in most videos to the point she has an orange line around her hairline 🥺🥺🥺 which just looks so peculiar and bizarre on her tiny little body.

But to be honest, more than the makeup what shocked me more was the clothes from adult women shops in a size xs for a 10 year old, go to river island kids and new look 915 and have done with it! Absolutely zero need for that!

I don't mean this as anything bad towards the little girl but for an 11yo her personality is just consumerism and nothing else, it's not cute or funny especially comparing her to other tiktok kids, if I was her mum I'd try and keep her a bit more shielded but that's just me 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

oh i completley agree she should be shielded ,I think when it comes to the makeup ,yeah she could buy cheap brands but shes obv got more money than sense,I do think its wasteful though .My daughter has asked me for lip oils but luckily for me she wouldnt know or care about the difference between a dior or a nyx one .
Theres a woman from my uni who's bought her 8 year old all the sol janiro sets and posted on her story the girl facetiming her friends on her phone 🤦🏻‍♀️

The NYX sounds a lot more reasonable..I don't have kids myself yet and things like this put me off as if more people don't start stand up and make a stand against people like Laura, I just think my daughter's 5th birthday - whilst in reception- am I going to be expected to buy her a set of skims shapewear and a pair of stiletto louboutins?

I get if you let kids on YouTube and Tiktok they will ask for the things they see, but to me it's then the parents responsibility to explain why they're a little too young at present or where does it end? Taking them for their lips doing to go into school?!?! Ordering your 8 year old a pornstar martini 😱🫣

I think the mum is lacking in friends and trying to turn her daughter into her friend rather than her child.
does she encourage her daughter to do anything other than shop?It doesnt appear so.

dont let her put you off,its not the norm. Most 5 year old girls are dressing up as Elsa ,playing with dolls or riding a bike etc.As they get older its a little harder as they will be influenced by there peers and the internet etc but thats where you have to be a parent .Laura doesnt seem to have many boundaries for her daughter and treats her like a friend.I actually think she behaves how she does because she loves her daughter and its her way of showing it but its just not healthy and wont end well

The kid will be an absolute nightmare as a teenager. Already completely spoilt and the way she speaks to her mother and others with no repercussions. Never been told no
