Kristen and Stephen have a great newish Podcast called “back to the beach” which looks at each episode of Season 1, they had LC on the season finale. It made me rewatch with open eyes and hurt my teenage heart that it wasn’t as real as I’d thought at the time!
Oh I must check that out. I know I watched it as if it was real life at the time

Lauren was my absolute favourite but now I see her differently somehow. I still like her, but back then I wished I was her with her parents house and the "job" at teen Vogue. Funny how we see things through different eyes as adults

what has he done? I have just watched the scene where Christina does the "audition" for a musical, it was so cringeStephen & Kristin’s podcast made me go back and rewatch. Watching it now it’s clearly very well edited but at the time it was brand new and very much real life to me

I did too, but it was also a ridiculous thing for her mum to give her, you could just see the agent already hated that she had to feign interest when she walked in. I don;t get why she didn;t just go down the church singing route, god knows her dad's church made a lot of money.

Watching this all as an adult is very interesting, the scenes at prom where people are "tired" yet clearly wasted and throwing up remind me of Rich Girls (also MTV) and people who have "had too mcuh coffee"

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one who ever watched Rich Girls. I looked both girls up a few years ago and saw that Ally had Lyme disease which she blamed for the burrito fiasco on the show. She seems happy.
