I’m pretty sure I’m having symptoms of lactose intolerance but it doesn’t seem to be every time I eat dairy. Mainly when I have cooked something in creme fraiche/Philadelphia cheese and a couple of times when I’ve eaten a sandwich at work
Very soon after, I’m cramping, nauseous, diarrhoea and I’m in agony for hours.
I don’t eat these things very often and it’s only been the past year or so that I’ve had symptoms but not every time I eat these products. I can eat cheese and some sandwiches and be ok, I can even have a milkshake and be fine. Strange, but it seems to be getting worse.
Are there decent alternatives to things that aren’t too pricey or am I just gonna have to suck it up and not eat these things? Any tips to ease symptoms?
