a thread about actress Kate Beckinsale

Thought I’d come on and create this thread because her behaviour and posting on IG has gone wilder and wilder over the past couple of years.
She’s thinner than ever and still denying she’s had plastic surgery.
This was today’s second weird body show. She posted pictures of her arse earlier on.
I hope she has nice people around her.

 
When she was in the "hospital" it clearly wasn't an actual mainstream hospital as they would not allow people to bring their pets and have their friends sprawling out across a spare bed in the room. None of my business where she really was (somewhere like the Priory is my guess?) but I do feel it wrong to hoodwink people like that.

I don't understand the giant bows in her hair. Not hurting anyone but hmm.

She comes across as very vulnerable so I do hope she's being looked after and will be okay. It's a horrible place to be and money is nice but it can't fight off some of the worst demons a person can have, whatever they may be.
 
She implied the hospital visit was something to do with the message on a t shirt she was wearing- which said ‘tummy troubles’

but that’s suitably vague.
 
Eating disorders are horrific. I've suffered from them most of my life. But in my 40s, I recognise that it is not something to be proud of, or to show off about, especially on social media, and especially not when you have a daughter. She is 50 years old. This is f**ked up. Not having an ED, but showing it off like this.

She is tiny, bobble-headed and strangely fixated with showing off her tiny figure. I think she could have BDD or something, that would fit in with the complete denial of cosmetic surgery too.

According to Beckinsale she was hospitalised with a hole in her oesophagus.

Yes, the line between diagnosing bulimia and AN b/p subtype is really just a question of weight. You can get tiny tears in your throat/oesophagus (known as 'Mallory Weiss tears') which can develop into far more serious tears if you continue purging.
I have every sympathy for her suffering from this, but zero sympathy for her promoting the resulting body to impressionable followers on social media. I think she is mentally pretty unwell.
 
When she was young she was so pretty in Emma. In comparison to Kate Winslet who is usually elegant, she looks much more trashy and skinny. I follow both, because I love Jane Austen and for my Kate B. was great as Emma and Kate W. great as Marianne.
 
It's ridiculous to claim she's had no cosmetic work done. She's 50 and a smoker, there is no way she'd look like that without injectables. She's weirdly obsessed with wearing those giant platform boots and shoes, she must be paranoid that her legs are short. She even wears them on the beach and ruins every red carpet outfit with those hideous platform 'stripper' heels

First glance she looks like Amy Winehouse
 
I went to college with her friend Gabi, who has also lost a significant amount of weight in the last few months. Such a weird friendship, she’s like 20 years older and all they do is post video recordings of themselves watching football and wearing weird outfits. All the attention seeking just screams they’re unhappy
