Not sure if anybody will be greatly aware of her and her family but I wanted to know opinions. I used to love her and then slowly started realising she seems quite manipulative.
She has 5 biological children and two step children from her current husband Chris. She had Lilia, who is 10, with her high school boyfriend, Gabe when she was newly 18. They broke up when Lilia was under a year old and then she began a relationship with Drake. Jess got pregnant with twins early into the relationship and they got married, before Jess caught him cheating on her with his cousin. They broke up, got back together, and then had another child, Landen. The twins are now 8 and Landen is 6. Drake left during her pregnancy with Landen and she soon met her current husband Chris. Together they had Addelyn who is almost 4

I use to watch her ages ago. I periodically check out her channel. I think she has gone so down hill and her titles are so clickbaity they make me cringe.

They're so clickbaity!! I also periodically check in but she just annoys me now. Their new house is gorgeous but she seemed so up her own ass in the house tour I struggled to watch it
 
I used to watch her way back when she first started and then I stopped for a while.
Her titles are click baity but I’ve recently got back into her videos and I actually really enjoy them!!
 
She seems nice enough. I really enjoyed her when it was just Lilia and the twins. When all the drama with Drake started to happen I got bored of it.
I was happy to see she met Chris, he seems like a really nice guy who appreciates her and I think she does an amazing job co-parenting with Gabe

Hmm... well they came back from Drakes very sunburnt. Tbh, she didn’t really place any blame. She explained to the boys that if an adult doesn’t put sun cream on them, then they should ask to put some on.
She never mentioned anything about talking to Drake about it, I thought she handled it pretty well!

I think what rubs me the wrong way is that we know she’s blaming Drake without explicitly saying it and using it for clickbait
Drake was tit, don’t get me wrong; but the whole using their relationship for titles and stuff just seems trashy.
I use to be a fan and she put out great stuff, but whenever it’s drama like that I can’t bare to watch her channel

It’s how she portrays Drake that always put me off watching. I understand he hasn’t always been there and may not have treated the boys as he should’ve done but at the end of the day, he’s still biologically their dad and slating him all over the internet is only going to harm them. It shouldn’t be so public. I’ve read a lot of stuff about Jess and I don’t think she’s as innocent as she portrays. I do feel as though Drake spoke some truth in the video he made about Jess
 
Does anyone else cringe at the mess in her house sometimes. I dont think I've ever seen a single bed made properly in the new house or the old one apart from when she has done a room reveal. Her kids are big enough now to keep on top of their own rooms apart from maybe the youngest two.

I also found it funny how she wouldn't put anything in the new drawers in the bathroom until she had put that protective lining in them when everything just gets left on the counter top anyway.

In the older house I would somewhat understand because it was a tiny house for the amount of people living in it but in this new house there's no excuse really
 
I don't like how she left in the bit where Kyson said his weekend with his Dad was boring and Kaden didn't know whether he'd enjoyed it and wasn't sure if he wanted to go back - there are somethings she should keep off the internet.

Plus i also understand that Drake should have put suncream on them, but again this should not have been plastered all over the internet with such a click-batey title, making him feel even worse for his mistake. there's always so many sly digs, just like the boys been brought back earlier than Lilia etc

I agree, I still watch her videos however the whole sunburn thing, I felt got blown out of proportion. We know that it must hurt however I don’t think it is going to help Drake if his mistakes are plastered over the internet
 
I like her tbh, more than any other parenting channel. Yes her titles are click bait but it seems to be an American thing, and most are like that anyway.
I find the honesty about her relationships with Gabe and Drake to be refreshing. I think she tries to be a good co-parent, and for her followers going through issues around that it could be really helpful. I think her children are also very well raised, and they seem really polite and well-mannered, and very appreciative, which is the opposite of a lot of influencers kids.
The sunburn thing kind of bothered me too. I think there are elements of over sharing, but I think the dynamics of American family channels are very different to british ones.
I also really enjoy her travel vlogs, esp Hawaii and Disney California ones. She’s honest in her opinions and doesn’t seem to flog rubbish all the time (*cough*BrummyMummyof2*cough*), and she’s generally less annoying than other online families.
 
I forgot about her, but used to watch occasionally years ago. I can't believe her youngest is almost 4 already, I remember when they have that awful sleeping incident where she stopped breathing. Tbh I am surprised they haven't had more children, even with 7 between them.
 
I've always really liked her but I find her getting more and more like other youtube families. I lost all respect for her when I found out Lilia was going to be releasing a song. I really never thought she'd be the kind of mother to sell her kids soul like that.

The clickbait really annoys me and sometimes I feel like they're so lenient with Addie. She comes across as a bit of brat sometimes (fair cause she's almost 4) but I feel like they rarely say no to her or give her any real form of discipline. Also some of the situations with the kids I've been like that could have been better handled, like the twins not being able to have their birthday party due to covid. She told them their party was cancelled the day of the party and of course they were upset. I felt like maybe she could have told them sooner considering she knew full well their party would be cancelled. To wait for the day of their party when they were expecting it was just a badly handled.
 
I’ve been watching Jess since she was pregnant with Lilia and always loved her videos! Right up until they’ve moved house and now I just don’t seem to enjoy them anymore. I don’t like how dramatic she is in front of the kids making them seem like there’s a huge problem when it’s something so little. I also agree that Addie gets whatever she wants, plus, I’m all the recent vlogs where is Chris on a morning?? Still sleeping or just absent from the schooling when Jess is needing her seven hours to edit one video

I thought the exact same thing about chris. I'm assuming he and Addie were still sleeping while she got all other 5 kids up for breakfast. I actually like Chris but I feel like he treats the twins a lot different than the way he treats Landen, Lilia and his own kids. He seems to not be as warm and loving to them as he is with the others. Admittedly, we only see a snippet of their week. I've always liked Jess for being so down to earth unlike a lot of other youtubers but it feels like now she's moved she's just becoming like the others. Even when she got her merch and won her award she was still normal.
 
Here's the video Drake made about Jess a few years ago for anybody interested who hasn't seen it. I don't believe every word he says by any means but I do think there's a lot of truth in his frustration. He's a piece of shit, no denying that, but I don't think Jess is the angel she's made out to be



My issue comes with how much she openly slates Drake on absolutely every social media she has. She just doesn't seem to think about the repercussions. The boys are young now, she has control over what they're watching, but when she doesn't and they start watching all these videos where their dad is being made out to be some sort of monster, all it's going to leave them with is confusion. My parents were in a similar situation, they despise each other and haven't spoken to each other since I was 6 months old, but I've never heard either of them say anything remotely negative about the other in front of me, let alone on such a public platform. Those kids are going to suffer the consequences of her superiority complex
