What do people think of this?

I know babies can scratch themselves but his left cheek looks terrible. I think he also has bruising by his left eye. I’ve watched it a few times and I don’t think it’s just shadow.

It's quite a big scratch, I wonder if the dog has maybe pawed him.

Leaving again

I don’t know how any parent of a 5 month old baby with a healthy attachment could choose and be able to cope with being so far away from them. A lot different to Europe which was bad enough. Will be interesting to see how long they are away for. I’m guessing at least until Monday or Tuesday next week. Long weekend that starts on a Wednesday 🙄

My son is 5 and I don’t think I could enjoy myself being that far away from him.

The infuriating thing is they think they will deserve this break because of how much they look after Beau even though they palm him off at any opportunity. I’m sure they’ve had loads of nights away, probably weekly, but don’t share it anymore because of the backlash. But they can’t help themselves when it comes to showing off their destination.

This is probably very sad on my part but I get anxious being away from my 12 month old for an hour or two.

You can just tell they hate parenthood, feel so sorry for that little boy but I bet he’s got a better bond with his grandparents anyway and is better off without them.
It’s not sad at all !!! You’re a parent you signed up to look after them. It’s normal how you’re feeling. You didn’t grow them for 9 months , endure labour just to toss them to the side.
she’s not maternal at all!!!!
Mine is 4 and I’ve never had a night away from
Him 😭😂

Apologies if I’m being stereotypical but is leaving your baby early not what most posh people do..the ones who can afford nanny’s and constant help..I bet James and Maeva grew up the same way..I’m not saying it’s right but probably a way of life for most of them hence the fact they see nothing wrong with leaving the little one 😔

maeva maybe, but james mum gives the impression that she might prefer a more hands on approach (at least while theyre babies) given shes probably done more parenting for beau than maeva has

Yep, this is when upper class mammy influencers don’t work, they’re not doing anything different to how they were brought up but the difference is they’re selling themselves on Instagram as super duper relatable Mams, the two don’t mesh
