I’m gutted, Banjo’s show isn’t on iPlayer yet for some reason. Will have to try and catch it live on Wednesday. I was all settled last night with a cuppa and an Easter egg ready for some Sunday night comfort viewing 🤣

I don't think first episodes of series are usually on iplayer before broadcast date tbh. Once first epi out often the whole series is available then.
Funnily enough at first The Traitors did have future episodes on iplayer - but when it suddenly got so massive they swiftly removed them so it had to be must-see TV 😂
But yes looking forward to Banjo's programme.

Oh I didn’t realise it hasn’t been on at all yet, thought it was on last week. Long weekend has mangled my brain 🤣

Caught up! Monika is scabbing through week after week, she doesn’t deserve to be there. Overcommits, doesn’t execute well and never delivers the brief. I’m shocked at this weeks exit. The beach chalets were all shite, the designers are uninspiring and none stand out to me, I can’t see any of them winning it and actually doing something with their career. This week Michelle was the biggest annoyance for me! I’ll watch the rest of this season but I’m falling out of love with it 💔

I think a new judge would be a welcome addition. Perhaps it needs two, a bland one like Kelli Hoppen and a more lavish one like Matthew Williamson. Needs to be someone with a long reputation rather than one of the previous contestants.

Yes two judges would be a good addition.
Michelle seems to sway with the wind at times. Wants bold design and no clichés, then says people aren't looking at their surroundings and responding to it eg Temi's hanging netting in the beach hut. Could a fishing net be any more obvious? But Michelle loved it 🤷‍♀️

My favourites was Jack. Fed up Monica crying every week thought her teepee thing outside looked naff. I find her personal taste tends to override what the theme is.

I liked the wood au naturel.

Im suprised the judges didn’t mention the hap hazard finish of the plywood splash back in the kitchen.

Is all that fabric up high practical and safe? How do you clean it?

I want Jack to win but it could be any of the 3.

Quote of the night “I think I’ve got panelling in me”.

Enjoyed tonight’s episode. I liked Tom and Monica’s best. Might just be me but I don’t think Jack has been very good for a while, he had a good couple of weeks at the start but I didn’t think his was great this week but Temi was the right person to go. Looking forward to next week now, no idea who will win. I think I might be Team Tom.

This series has run out of steam. Both of the designs were lacklustre. Temi’s plywood kitchen was so badly made. It was shocking. Tom got stick for his but his was better. I agree that Jack seems to have got worse as the series as gone on. Massive eyeroll for Monica’s terrace and crybaby tendencies. I think Tom is the best, but I don’t warm to him. I am just bored of them and Michelle. I will always love Alan.

Michelle has to supply her own clothes…

This did make me lol 😆

I think Jack seems to have lost his confidence a bit in the last couple of weeks, hopefully he can get his mojo back. It's a shame about Temi as she's been improving, but she was the worst this week

I didn't really get their comments about the kitchens - the tiles were awful, and Tom's looked much better (although the finishes on both of them looked like they wouldn't last five minutes)

Makeovers aside, the actual lodges looked a bit shabby and didn't exactly scream luxury wedding

I find it baffling that one week Michelle can be banging on about practicality of designs and then the next week it’s totally overlooked. There is a reason that people don’t have a plywood backsplash in a kitchen - it is flammable, non-waterproof, easily stains and is not wipe clean. It was also terribly made.

I seem to remember Michelle being very anti-foliage yet it wasn’t mentioned either. That and the drape material would just be dust and bug magnets and totally impractical.

I hated Temi’s plywood kitchen as well - it looked totally wrong in that space especially when she left the timbers as they were. The black wrap on the tiles looked horrific, like someone had melted a bin liner on them 😂

Totally agree with the other poster who said that Monika struggles to remove her personal aesthetic from design choices. The duck taxidermy looked like roadkill. I am also shocked she wasn’t penalised for making zero effort on the outside terrace.

Agree Temi’s was weak but in all honesty no one impressed me this week again.

Agree with all of this. So much seemed impractical. Jack, Temi and Monika's fresh foliage - how often would it have to be changed as it will just die? Tom's white 'tent' will get grey and grubby looking so quickly. Plus the base of his homemade sofa looked like cheap exposed chipboard.
I didn't think any of the designs were great at all and was quite worried Jack was going tbh. I think his outside space saved him.
I think Jack is great but he just seems to be a bit subdued and losing his confidence as the series continues. Hope he can get it back in time.

I went to a cafe in Hebden Bridge at the weekend and thought it looked familiar... Then I realised it was one of the cafes they designed in the 2021 series! I'd never been before but as soon as I walked in if had a sense of deja vu 🤣 as far as I could tell they'd kept the colour scheme and most of the features.
