Inspector Morse - Such a classy series.

My parents love this show, although I could never get into it. Perhaps it was a little too over romanticized in quaint old Oxfordshire. But John Thaw was excellent as Morse, no question about that.

I just hope the show doesn't get the "reboot" treatment for a more 2021 audience

I like Morse, but I couldn't really get into Lewis or Endeavour.

I like the 1st episode where he falls for a woman from his church choir that ends up committing suicide, and Morse becomes a suspect himself.

There is also a very creepy episode about a devil worshipping, violent serial killer! Some frightening scenes.

I also like the episode where a woman is killed after being shot through her kitchen window.
Turns out it was a case of mistaken identity. The killer was looking for her next door neighbour who was a man with long hair.

Ah yes, was the devil-worshipping episode the one where his beloved jaguar was scratched with lots of strange symbols?
And the episode where at the end Lewis was in a fight at the top of castle like building with the killer and Morse is charging up the stairs to get to him. My Mom was literally screaming at the tv 🙈🙈🙈
