I agree with you - royals are meant to be impartial but Mike’s given off some clear signs he’s anti certain things Matt has said/done & I personally think a lot of that is down to that Very poignant image I’m sure we all have of the Queen sitting alone at the funeral - it made us all think about our own grandparents sitting alone being unable to see them right??

I think it’s an act.
The same as being vegan gets him special meals and not weird animal off cuts.

I'm not sure if it's that people actually LIKE matt now but rather that they dislike what we are seeing of BG, Sue, Charlene and Chris. Keeping matt in pisses them off immensely and I personally love seeing the smiles wiped off their smug faces (never knew i could be so petty ) matt knew he would be voted for all the trials by the public and i think if them 4 hadn't of acted so bitchy about it, the public would have carried on voting him, it also means they would have all gotten fed better than the shitshow the others have made of the trials.

Had a chinwag with neighbour as you do and she said she'd complained to ofcom saying that the celebs are being 'starved' off course shes only bothered to watch it this year and told her its been 1000x worse in other years and lack of food is a part of the show walked away tutting

Normally I’m all for keeping people in that piss the people off, but not this time. He shouldn’t be getting air time at all. He did so much damage to this country along with others.

I think BG is great television. Keeps things interesting.

It would be bland as could be if everyone was like Jill or Owen.

Sean's mental health has obviously taken a pounding. Cheating is wrong but unsure the consequences he has faced are fair. Tough one. If I was family or friend I'd be keeping a close eye on him. Lying down in the middle of the street is not normal either.

Chris Moyles is an absolute pest. If they could lose him in the jungle he'd fit in well with the other creatures with his creepy eyes.

I quite like Mike, think he's just bored. Has been a fun enough personality from what I have seen.

Matt is so naturally awkward but I can't help but like him. Politically etc obviously not but on the show, as he appears, I like him.

As much as it pains me to say, I think Matt saved the series. The line up was dire and without Matt what would be shown? more boring mundane conversations like in Wales the past 2 years all we would have is BG whinging at Scarlett.

Matt will go around the half way point of evictions then the camp will be all happy happy boring boring I do hope that Matt fails to get any further media work when he leaves, but like I've said previously I think there will be a bidding war for interviews

This was in the local newspaper at the time, height of COVID, he was annoyed he couldn't visit her because of protocols... That everyone had to follow.

That being said, thankfully she did pull through.

Honestly I think if I was in his situation, and I was not allowed to see my Mum or dear family member if they were in really ill hospital, I would try anything to get some reassurance in some sort of way...
