I had to take my eldest child, who was 20 at the time, to say goodbye to his father through a window. My son is autistic which made the whole thing even more complicated. It was bloody awful to be honest and I've shut it away in the back of my memory somewhere. No but he said how awful it was during Covid when he couldn’t see his mum in hospital. When it affects you/a close relative I think you can take the high ground on that subject.
I’d find it very hard to bite my tongue in those circumstances.
That’s why I can’t understand Charlene behaving as she is. Obviously worried about how she’d come across to the viewers. I don’t like her but ffs woman, these wankers broke the rules while we lost our loved ones and we abided by them. Rip him a new one rather than being nice to his face.
I can accept that Hancock wasn't entirely to blame but I don't think I could sit there with him like that. It's difficult. I find watching him difficult if I'm honest. However I'm also trying to be reasonably minded and I accept that he was just a person doing his job. He is ruining a 'light' entertainment programme in my opinion though.
