The person who has done the worst is BG. I hope someone calls him out for his crime. As others have said, Matt Hancock did not bring Covid to our shores. He was part of a government, who, with Johnson at the helm, imposed the restrictions on us all. He broke the rules by having an affair, as did Johnson, many other members of government and MP's, as did thousands of arseholes accross the country including my next door neighbour. He had an affair, but so did Seannnnnnn, Mike Tindall, so let he who is without sin cast the first stone (sorry for the religious ref but you catch my drift)

And as for his constituents, they voted for him in the first place. But come on. How many of us interact with our MP ever or at all? I have only contacted mine twice (a tory) and never got a reply. I can't see the impact on his constituency being massive.

As for taking a couple of weeks out of parliament, I seem to recall Johnson doing exactly that just a few weeks ago when he was on a beach in the Dominican Republic. But his sychophantic supporters praised him for his misguided flight back to the UK to try to get his old job back. Looking at how empty the seats are in the HOC day in day out I bet he is not the only one feeding at the public trough whilst drawing an MP's salary, on both sides of the House.

He hopefully has a thick skin, he will need it given the witch hunt that is going on. The bandwagon- jumping, the lynch mob, all so boringly predictable.

I need to take my temperature I reckon as I appear to be defending a Tory, who I don't think performed well in government, so I must be coming down with something!

Her whole body response to his stability comment was pretty much what I did when he said that 😆 I'm not a fan of hers and she irritates me sometimes (she can come across superior) but I don't share the strong dislike of her lots of people in here feel.
That’s exactly it! I’ve been trying to put my finger in what it is that is so “off” about Charlene and you’re right, it’s her superiority complex.

I loved the trial last night, my daughter and I were howling with laughter!!
Seann is clearly easily led and influenced, he deferred to Matt almost immediately as the ‘leader’. From my point of view it’s always Seanns type of personality that get into trouble in Strictly. They seem to suffer from hubris and make colossal fools of themselves.

I think the camp is just confused right now about what to do - but I can’t wait for the shit to hit the fan soon.

I haven’t watched a reality show for years but I’m very glad I tuned into this one.

You have to be thick skinned to be a politician and he is or he wouldn't have gone on IAC.

I do find it such a bizarre argument that because so many politicians broke the covid rules that now it's not a big deal because they all did it? It doesn't make it right. Yes lots of people broke the rules but us regular folk weren't mandating the rules or have a status of power. It's absolutely wild what politicians get away with..

I'm a bit worried that (assuming they get the chance to elect a camp leader) the campmates will choose to put someone like Mike in charge ...ie the "natural leader" who appears to be well-liked in there.

For those who dislike Matt, I reckon the best thing they could do is make him leader in there, so he reverts to type and shows his true colours. I hope they have the foresight to give him enough rope or he'll just keep winning people's sympathy.

Aside from the bossy cooking etc why does everyone dislike Charlene so much?

And why do we think Olivia really went?! It’s been completely glossed over on the show/by her. It’s very strange and mysterious!
I don't care any more I would rather move on and concentrate on the camp mates that are there, maybe I am wrong but I think Boy G will walk I can't see him lasting the course.

Of course it doesn't make it right they are a bunch of Tory lowlife with no moral compass or any care for others. And its people who defend liars and hypocrites like Hancock who keep voting them in.

I agree he is playing his cards well and we are not seeing the real Matt at all, although he is coming over as being cock sure of himself he is glossing over his persona and winning the easily led over. I am not one of them.

He did tell everyone to stay home, stay away from loved ones etc as the health secretary (!!!) whilst canoodling with a woman (whilst at work!!!!!), a woman he had an affair with & then left his wife for - the man is SCUM & absolutely should not be there as a working MP. It beggars belief. He doesn’t deserve support or kindness, he wasn’t kind or professional when the country was in unprecedented crisis.

It’s incredibly insulting on many levels. I don’t want to see him do all the trials either, I want to see him off a tv game show, shutting up and doing his job. The bloody idiot.
Mike Tindall cheated on Zara
Sean Walsh cheated on his partner whilst on strictly
The colleague at the time. I’m guessing they worked in a close bubble and I guess he was away from his family during the pandemic.

Unfortunately people cheat, relationships break down. It’s unfortunate it was recorded on CCTV but ultimately these things happen regardless of rules.

What about Boy George? Is he scum? He did some pretty awful things to another person and went to jail?

I agree he appears to be easily led. He didn’t seem able to focus on the task last night.

The focus thing might be the fear, but I also recall him mentioning that Dr Ranj told him he had adhd when they were on strictly so maybe that is an element of it.

I agree the camp is confused and in shock but I think it will settle soon enough rather than kick off

Do the camp mates know who is going in like we all do? Just wondering how they do it in the prefilmed parts!

If Matt’s ego couldn’t take it, I’m sure he wouldn’t have gone in. He didn’t seem bothered by the public reception when asked, so that’s on him. He’s a current member of parliament so of course everyone is wondering what he’s doing there, covid etc.

I personally don’t get why people think Charlene has a superior complex, the only thing that comes to mind is the cooking thing but I didn’t really see that as an issue like the camp mates did. People were helping her but the rest just bitched that she wasn’t letting them, instead of just asking if she needed a hand? There’s only so many jobs to go around. All of the smaller bits like that will settle down once they’re used to living together and have a system.

If anyone has a complex, it’s BG! He seems to have an ability to make everything about himself 😂

Boy George is making charlene look better.

I found mart quite entertaining. I didn’t like the way they all Ganges up on him.

scarlett was really rude to him.

It feels like bullying.
This isn't bullying. He NEEDS to be called out on his bullshit.

Millions wasted on PPE contracts to line his Tory mates pockets, lack of PPE at the start of the pandemic and lying about it to the public, discharging untested elderly people from hospital into care homes and letting them die, breaking his own rules to have an affair, restricting visitors at funerals and limiting the amount of people allowed to visit dying patients in hospital. These are just the tip of the iceberg.

The man is scum. No amount of seeing him eat kangaroo dick will make up for his wrong doings. The other campmates need to get a backbone and call him out. I really hope he doesn't come out of this smelling of roses.

His girlfriend then went on to write a memoir about how Seann was a coercive controller and gaslighter when they were together.
I haven't read it (no offence to her but I found her irritating) so have no idea how bad it was for her.
I find her irritating too.

Sean did not come across as particularly likeable in Strictly. However, we don’t know the full details of their relationship and I can imagine she played her part in the mess.

I find it sad that she wrote so publicly about the breakup and was behind him being vilified and was met with nothing but sympathy.

His affair isn't the issue although it hardly casts him in a good light.

Of course he isn't responsible for covid coming to our shores. Basic, bad decisions were made which he was a part of though.

As Health Secretary I expected him to follow the guidelines he proposed. His guidelines had an effect on millions yet he didn't see fit to follow them himself. This, for me, is unforgiveable. He's human, yes, that doesn't mean we should just accept it as ok because it really isn't. It's nothing to do with being holier than thou. His actions show me the kind of man he is, regardless of the news.
All of this! Plus he’s being paid £80,000 a year for a job he isn’t doing at the moment, on top of his £400,000 fee. MP’s get holidays, he should be working now not in Australia!
