I doubt his wife and kids think he’s harmless.Or his constituents who he’s abandoned for a game show. Or the relatives of people who died in care homes thanks to his “protective ring”. Or taxpayers who he did over by handing out dodgy contracts to his mates.

Well the constituents got what they voted for. A pratt. And as for your remaining points, "Collective cabinet responsibility" and Johnson. Hancock was always the fall guy.
 
I’m under no impression that any political party is perfect but the whole handling of the care homes was a tit show. Is he the worst Tory? No. Is he solely responsible for the handling of Covid? No. Was the virus roll out done well? Yeah I’ll give him that. I don’t want to de rail the thread but the second Bojo said we should let the virus “move through” that’s when it kinda became clear they were going to be too little too late on acting. Would another Party have acted quicker? Who knows. Buck stops with the PM.

Point is Hancock has his part to play in the whole mess that was the Johnson government. I’m not going to wish the guy death or anything psychotic but I do hope he has to drink blended cockroaches and wear a spider hat and I hope he hates every second.

You know if he came on Tv and said “We know we fucked up. I am sorry for my part in it.” I might actually give him props...but I don’t think he will, I don’t think any politician would.

Not a popular opinion, but I have never been one to follow the crowd.

I don't think it's a case of following the crowd to have a deep disrespect of Hancock.
 
I'm finding it all a bit boring so far , Chris moyles is annoying he's either trying to make a joke every 2 seconds or mentioning his weight loss, plus I think he has a mean streak. I have always disliked Charlene aswell, she is too righteous and opinionated plus she's rude and talks over people. I love Mike and the rest can take or leave so far . Gutted Olivia went as she is very quick and witty she would have been funny I think.

I sometimes get the impression Moyles is like an insecure schoolboy who desperately wants to be funny and liked. He sometimes looks almost shy, which I know sounds preposterous given his former career. But often loudmouths are not like that in smaller groups or one to one. The bravado goes.

Yeah . I can see him throwing someone else under the bus for his own gain though. A bit like when the kid at school doesn't want to be bullied so becomes the bully

Yeah you’ve nailed it for me. I think I quite like him but then I think of previous people like Iain Lee where the insecurity turned into being a total self pitying prat…
 
long time lurker here, hello everyone 👋

im surprised at how much I’m enjoying BG, I know he’s been an absolute knob in the past but I’m finding him highly entertaining and so far to me is coming across as genuine.
Can’t STAND Charlene tbh she seems very entitled and bossy, but liking everyone else in there so far, albeit all slightly boring. Jill and Owen’s friendship in here is gonna give some good laughs I feel. Gonna be interesting to see how Hancock is received by camp mates I hope it causes some stir 🤔
 
I've just read that because Olivia left the camp to seek medical attention she was not allowed back in because of breaking the covid bubble and the slim chance she might have contracted the virus. Not the most reliable of sources MSN but here you go:
