To be super lenient and I’m no huge Mike fan, maybe he found it trickier as he’s a little older and it was easier to pal up with Sue who’s a similar age group. BG’s the ultimate I’m not a regular oldie I’m a cool oldie, Matt’s.. well.. Matt and not even that old and the rest are younger and more with the times with their TV careers etc, he’s been married to a royal for years so probs isn’t in with all the banter.

I see what you're saying though. I hadn't thought of that.
I think he palled up with her because she was so openly critical of MH and he agreed.
 
Mike looked really haggard and had the personality to match it. Zara seems like a dim walkover. Happy to live in royal residences for free while saying isn't a royal. She's probably quite basic and likes that she has all the time in world to play horses, then turns a blind eye to mike's manydisgressions saying boys will be boys.

Well he joined the right family to be an adulterous twat didn’t he!
 
The Boy George in the short clips I’ve seen of him since he’s been out is more like the Boy George I’ve always known* and loved. Wish he’d been like that in there but like he said himself to Seann up on the swing he was a bit of fish out of water and I suppose that drained a lot of his usual energy. Shame that. He was quite lacklustre when I would have expected more fun. He did seem to enjoy himself much more on his last day though (Grot/Grott Yoga and the Jungle Arms) and probably because of my soft spot for him, that stands out for me as the best episode of the series, one I’ve watched again since and leaves me smiling.

I’d love to see him giving it another shot with a different set of people, but he never will.

* I’ve never met him. You know what I mean. Grew up being a fan etc.

Back to his flamboyant self. Like a different person.

Funny watching all the Instagrams. Charlene sees this as a massive boost, she's been on Insta so much although she was already but she will dine out on this for weeks. Gushing posts. But being arm in arm with Matt doesn't exactly give weight to her impartiality excuse.

Loved Mike's live showing behind the scenes. He was commenting on people as they came into view and when Matt came into shot he just turned his phone away and said something like "nah". No hiding his dislike of the fella outside now. He can see a snake when he sees one. 🐍
