Agreed! It’s not the Ivy as was in the 90s. It’s just like a glossy franchise where soap stars visit and wannabe wags who are 21. I’ve been to the new franchise ones a couple of times - the Manchester one is awful on a weekend night. Like you’re having a meal in a night club and the food is not great. Shane whoever from boy zone was sat on the table next to us being loud and obnoxious with a bunch of women. Went to the one in York last Christmas for lunch and that was actually much nicer and the food was decent. I think in the day it’s much less of a party place. But definitely not high end anymore

So glad Hollie has got a trial, gave her my 5 votes tonight, not because I want to see her suffer but just because she genuinely looks so disappointed when she’s told she doesn’t get to do something, you can see she’s gone in there for a challenge and the full experience so happy she gets a chance to do something. Would have preferred someone else with her though, sick of Shane and Jordan hogging all the limelight. We’ve barely seen Mo, Hollie or Russell.

Agreed, I’ve been to the one in Brighton a few times and it’s not that much more expensive than your average restaurant IMO. It was nice though!
