I’ve only just got round to watching this weeks episode. Excellent and what an ending. Can’t believe we now have to wait two years! I will definitely be rewatching just to really get to grips with it all. Is it awful that I really wish Jace had died and not Luke. He had such a sweet face and came across far more likeable 😢

I only watched the first 4 minutes (up to season 1), my question is...

Did we know Aegon and his sister were betrothed / married? I remember a few comments she made but I didn't make the connection to Aegon.

It's in the book and if I remember rightly it was actually viserys who made the match. Unfortunately the show decided to not show any of that and just expected us to know 🙄

Yes their betrothal was discussed on the show during episode 7, during Laena’s funeral and ep 8 and 9 both reference the fact they are now married and have kids - the kids are shown too

I wonder if they really would have married siblings to each other in the middle ages? Rhaenra and Daemon mirror Richard III and Elizabeth of York, even though they didn't marry, he wanted to marry her, so it wasn't taboo, but I would have thought full brother and sister would have been a step too far?

I am stalking it daily 😂 and anywhere else he is mentioned. At least Matt does interviews etc so we see what he is like but Ewan is a ghost. Surely he will have to do interviews for the second season? He can’t just refuse can he?

I've borrowed it from the library about 3 times because I can never get through it in the loan time and there's always a huge waiting list so I have to return it and go back on the waiting list every time.
