I used to be an avid viewer of Oaks until a couple of years ago, when I noticed the quality had dipped massively. I tuned in for the big week, as I always love the Autumn stunts the show does, but it was shockingly bad.

I can’t believe how much they’ve ruined Silas as a character. In 2011, you could never had imagined him detonating bombs in the middle of the village.

The stunt itself was nothing to write home about. Didn’t they already have an explosion earlier this year as well? Couldn’t they have been more imaginative and come up with a more outside-the-box disaster to plague the village? It would’ve been more interesting if that climbing wall had collapsed as opposed to just a couple of bombs being detonated.

agreed, none of this storyline makes sense now, people get spiked in dark pubs/bars, not in an open place in dayight, impossible that no one saw it happen. I am just done with it already

I am losing the will with Hollyoaks a bit. Its more of an "in the background" watch. I think Silas rocking back up was my straw he was good the first, maybe second time round but after the 19th it was like done lol
