Ok I've got back into it again recently but the Maya stuff was so stupid - what a piss poor 'villain'.

I think Darren and Nancy have run their course a bit. I loved them together but they seem to be running out of things to do with them. There's only so many times they can break them up and get them back together. Same with Mercedes, which I guess is the trouble with people who stay for a long time.

The explosion stuff was good - I always felt they do best with the big disaster episodes (even if they do seem to have an unfortunate amount of deaths).
 
Not really buying ste and James either, I know people don't have to be a perfect match but there's literally not one thing they have in common , especially when I see ste in a track suit it just doesn't make sense

When she says Dimran it reminds me of the film east is east , I'm sure one of the boys get a nickname like that on there

I’m just baffled as to why Mercedes is constantly saved from the axe, her character is awful same with Ste. Yet Hollyoaks get rid of good characters.

I think a lot of it is an attempt to keep these 'legacy' characters around for as long as possible, as I think a lot of people who've left already won't come back. Plus I guess because they have kids it means they can include/keep those around, but sometimes if the kids are too young it seems a bit pointless.

Did anyone see Sarah Jayne's interview where she said she'd miss *some* people and said there was beef behind the scenes? I wanna know who she had beef with. 😂

Site’s character seems to be totally different from when he was first on the show, he is like a totally different person

Bit random but what was the deal of the whole 'Maya' or 'Mya' why did they keep saying her name wrong then correcting it? Or was it just pointless?

I’ll never forget when he held a meeting with James when he started cleaning his flat and said he overheard James call him a chav in the lav🤣🤣
