can you link it? I am devastated from the spoiler above (well not really, I watch one episode every two or three weeks these days lol) but I’m intrigued by this. I remember she did a very in-depth and rather haunting interview about being assaulted by Harvey Weinstein when starting out,not sure if it would be something maybe to do with that?

I’m sure i read somewhere he was possibly racist or misgendered the person who plays Brooke but thats just rumoured, i cant say for certain. I’m sure there is a thread on here about his departure?

I don’t think it was ever resolved. I even checked on Twitter a few months back but apart from a few people asking, there hasn’t been anything confirmed. I did see the thread on here, and believe I was the one (or one of many) who said it was a misgendering of Brooke that got him sacked but that’s something I read on another website. There’s been radio silence since he left, it’s driving me mad!

Just looked at her stories, so it would seem she is pissed off that they allowed Rachel to call her trash. Which is perfectly justifiable of Rachel tbh if she was attacking the fact she had been subject to racism within hollyoaks.
She seems very angry they've decided to kill her off and is now kicking up a stink. It's not going to change anything, it's just going to make her look silly

I remember the stuff with Rachel. Charlie Clapham outed her. He posted screenshots of a group chat Lysette was in where she commented on the stuff going on with Rachel and Hollyoaks at the time

Without seeing the full conversation it was assumed Lysette was saying past cast members shouldn't be talking about what happens on set as it puts those still there at risk of no jobs. It then labelled her as racist/accepting of the alleged behaviours that Rachel spoke out about.
It was a very public twitter argument.
Marnie's last few scenes were some of her best, at times I couldn't stand her character but the way she loved Juliet and Romeo was lovely, you could see she loved them and let the guard down around them.
As for Mercedes being a widow again, I think I'd have preferred her to have died and Sylver have a happy ending. I don't think I could watch Silas part 3 of getting his revenge on our Mercy again with Bobby as his assistant this time.

i think it’s certainly heading for the axe. It’s become totally chaotic like Brookside did towards the end - they’re literally throwing everything at the wall hoping that a) something sticks and b) drum up some publicity.
the ratings are absolutely abysmal, I’m sure at one point they were clearing 1 million easily and now it’s down to around 100,000 - I know the way we watch TV has changed with OD etc but that’s really really bad.
