I think you're onto something there 🤣 everyone seems so crap and naff on hollyoaks these days. I just realised the other day that Fergus played Gavin in Emmerdale years ago when he had a full head of hair 😅 the one who went out with Bernice then ran off wither another man
(not sure if there are any emmerdale viewers on here)
The Bill is where I remember him from! Loved The Bill!

He was going to the jewellery shop that Luke told him about to buy something for Nancy. I think he witnessed a robbery there? We saw him tied up straight after Luke gave him the address

Yeah apparently the robbery was led by a psychopathic woman and him being there meant kidnapping was in order. CCTV clearly isn't a concern but random eyewitness must be held in a never before mentioned hotel

All the Christmas episodes are on All4 and I still don't get the Darren kidnapping or how the McQueens go from being skint to overnight property owners.
I still don't understand the Becky character, the Devereux's are unrelatable and the scriptwriters ruined some good characters with them.

At this rate I can see Hollyoaks joining Brookside in the Soap Cemetery next year.

Where do the the McQueens get the money refurb the hutch and move into it ?

Hope grace wipes out that new female villian

I want to know who did the Hutch renovation so quick and how they got the change of commercial property to residential so quick 🤣

Grace is lost without her brothers and more bimbo than villain these days. I'm guessing Warren will join forces with the prison Psychologist to save the guy who 'kidnapped' Darren.

Why does Hollyoaks clearly think it is a good thing if unstable teenagers have a baby "so they can have their own family because their parents let them down?" There was Tom, now Charlie and Ella, and others before them.

I don't dispute it IS a realistic response that a child might have in that situation. But it's being portrayed as a good thing! I notice that a fair amount of the commentary on Hollyoaks social media is from people who seem to virulently believe that women exist to have babies and are anti-abortion or even anti-adoption. It's not such a stretch from there to think that it's a good thing for young teenage girls to be having babies, I wonder if that contributes to the writing? But then this idea (if you're a teen and your parents disappointed you, have your own baby) has been around for a long time in Hollyoaks regardless of the current showrunner / writing staff - just like its attitude that adoptive parents are basically just glorified babysitters even when the child's birth parent(s) are dead

Are Tony and Luke the same age? There was a scene of them I saw the other day and he (Tony) was acting almost like he was a father figure but back in the day weren’t they meant to be the same age?

I thought Tony was older? I’ve only just started watching after about a decade of not though so I am probably wrong. I was actually shocked how many characters were still the same after all this time

To be fair I didn’t even watch it when Luke was originally in it 😂 I just thought they were the same age, perhaps I’ve got it wrong!
