Anyone watch. A Vegan Cambridge graduate who has major obsessive restrictive eating and exercise issues. Charges £43 per hour (3 extra for paypal payment which is technically against the law) and thinks if she doesnt spend 15 hours per day been productive her life is a mess. She is 22 but looks and acts 12 and i cannot fathom why people are openly paying to take her advice.

Her sister Emily also has a youtube channel Lemonem she is another bizarre case, she is 25+ yet posts the cringiest tik toks ever
 
I watched her trip to Australia, but I was amazed when she ended up in hospital for dehydration as she didn’t realise you can’t just endlessly drink water to avoid dehydration. And she wants to study nutrition at masters, but seems to eat the most lacking food, she’s vegan but seems to just eat fruit and not a great deal else :/ I just found it all a bit bizarre

What does she charge £43 an hour for?! That's crazy. I don't know much about Holly but I just can't warm to her at all. Glad she has a thread!
 
I'm sure i've read a thread on her before on here

I caught a bit of the live q and a Joanna Wilson did with her (Sister of Olympic Gymnast Nile Wilson) are the contrast between Joanna who is also a Cambridge Graduate and lovely and down to earth to Holly is massive

Hey! Kept up regularly with her thread on GG, but since that's shut down, time to move over here! Holly does services in personal statements and tutoring, which is a bit odd. Not exactly sure what qualifies her to charge so much for tutoring. Yeah, she was first in her class at Cambridge, but I find the best students tend to make the worst teachers? And she's written what, 3 personal statements in her life?

Plus she is from a wealthy middle class background so no doubt she had a lot of help in preparing her own personal statement. Holly just doesnt have the best people skills or personality traits in general to even be a satisfactory teacher let alone decent. She did a Q and A with Joanna Wilson (Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson's sister) and she is a super outgoing down to earth easy person to get on with and even then Holly seemed out of her depth following such conversation.
 
And she has a terrible addition to being productive! Her latest video showed that.

I think this is an issue with a lot of study-tubers. They build their brand at a time in their life when they don't have to have a work life balance. Getting their degree is all that matters and they don't have part-time jobs so they become so used to working almost every waking hour of the day. Then if they don't get a job then they continue to have a terrible work life balance (i.e they have no life). I just hope she doesn't burn herself out.
 
I just don’t understand what it is about her that attracts so many people. I only know who she is because a friend of mine met the family on holiday - her mum was vocal about her daughter being a Youtuber and we’ve sort of kept an eye on her since to see what the fuss was about. Don’t really get it though, not my type of gal I don’t think. But then I’m probably not hers either so fair enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nah, she's not even energetic; she's actually just really annoying. That addiction to 'productivity' and 'perfection' is probably going to cost her in the future when she realises you can't operate at that level in the long-term. But like you said, being around someone like that would probably make you feel quite insecure.

She has some seriously childish habits for a 22 year old, whenever she does a video with her sister to another person she is acting up like an infant would. I do wonder if she has some undiagnosed condition or if it is just severely lacking social skills.

I reckon she lacks social skills. She openly admits that she never had friends in school and although she was part of societies at univeristy she didn't seem close with many people there. She has never really been close with anyone but her family, and it's easy to fall into childish behaviours if you only interact with your family. Girl just needs to get a realy job and some friends and stop thinking it's unique to be QuiRKy
Her brother on the other hand genuinely concerns me, he only ever seems to shout at Holly and in one video he acted in a way that could be construed as offensive to disabled people, and he's 20 or something!

I also reckon the way she acts around her sister is something to do with how close they were before Emily went off to university.

Holly has said she would try to ask Em what she was eating etc while away so she could do the same/eat the same... and I do genuinely think Holly has struggled to find herself due to the relationship she has with her sister. She obviously doesn’t copy foods anymore, but when you’re as close to a sister as she is, it becomes extremely difficult to not base your decisions/life on them, especially when you’re only away from home for 8 weeks at a time.

Plus, they both went to Queens, Cambridge, are both vegan, ex-dancers, both talk about the same/similar topics and just seem to have the exact same interests, apart from the fact Emily has a boyfriend and a job, and didn’t focus as much on studying etc.

Idk I just find it a bit odd!

Perhaps not a cult but more just Holly’s lack of maturity. Most siblings find themselves when the other leaves the house, but I just don’t really think that happened for Holly. Being away for such short periods didn’t allow her to really become independent, and as such is probably still in the routine she had when she was 18.... she just hasn’t been able to mature I don’t think! And the old ED defo doesn’t help with her looking about 12!
 
You'd think the Australia trip would help but it seems the trip was just a huge freebie and she isolated in her single room many times and despite been a 1st class biology grad failed to grasp the concept of hydration !
Im not sure if they are cult like but i wondered if they were religious Holly's sister has said many times she does not believe in birth control. You'd of thought a 25/26 year old women in a relationship would at least accept its useful ! She spends over £400 on a ipl device to remove her hair daily down below though so its clearly prepared in some ways 😂
Holly looks malnourished immature and doesnt display any signs she has even gone through puberty and her failure to even acknowledge periods makes me think this could be the case
