I did till hogwarts come out lol, was really good but I got it on Xbox game pass so didn't pay for it, I heard there was so many problems at launch for switch an playstation though but think they have it sorted now, it's such a good game though, think there's a few over on the video games chat that play it frequently so you could ask if bugs are all sorted out now 😊

Also just started my second playthrough, went ravenclaw this time an released that there's different gameplay, just completed one quest an in Slytherin you need to do something for scrope but in ravenclaw it's olivander, so cool they have given different tasks for quests
 
I was interested in buying Disney Dreamlight Valley too after reading the thread on here! Looks like a bit of me 😊

I went ahead and started a new HL game as a Slytherin and I’ve actually surpassed my OG Ravenclaw’s progress. I do still play on that one though, I plan to do characters for the other houses too. Haven’t completed the story yet because I only get to play for a bit in the evenings. I’m still enjoying running around exploring and I finally have a broom and room of requirement so that’s handy. 😂

ooh that’s interesting .. I had heard somewhere that hufflepuff was the only one where you visit Azkaban which I am doing now so I did wonder if there were other storylines for the other houses!

Oh no way, that's awesome, azkaban would be so cool to see, do you know when about it was you visited an I'll see if I can remember what Slytherin's was, I will be playing all four anyway as I want to 100% the achievements for it an I can only do that with playing all houses

Also Disney dreamlight is soo good, if you enjoyed games like animal crossing an farming like stardew then you will love it

I’m hufflepuff and my husband is Gryffindor so when I was in Azkaban he was like wtf no fair! 🤣
 
I love Animal Crossing! I’ve neglected my island lately though :(

Ahh so excited for Azkaban! The Jackdaw Quest with all the spiders nearly finished me off - had to get my husband to step in. 😰

Who’s everyone’s fave NPC so far? With my Slytherin character I always choose the meaner interaction, like keeping the stuff after completing side quests while my Ravenclaw one is much nicer. 😂


 
Omg the jackdaw quest is horrible, it's so early as well so you dont even have great spells, I resorted to throwing chinese chomping cabbages at them 😂

Thankfully it's gets so much better the later you go, an you eventually start to match spells that work together, there's 4 spell combos that will finish a enemy in one go if you match them up right

I quite like ominis gaunt an professor sharp, I like their back story's although I do think Sebastian has one of the best back story's, poppy's an Natty's were good but not as strong at sebs

I have all my playthroughs lined up to see if I can get the different endings lol

First playthrough I was a Slytherin witch an was nice to others an done what they asked but choose the dark path for spells

Ravenclaw is my wizard an he's gonna be an asshole to others 😅 but am gonna pick the good path an not get the unforgivables

Hufflepuff is now my 3rd an I'll prob go wizard an nice to everyone plus do a good path

Gryffindor am just gonna be an asshole witch to them all plus pick the dark path

I’m Hufflepuff and have been a proper goodie two shoes and not gone for the unforgivables. My other half is basically doing the same Slytherin playthrough that you did and I think I’m going to do a similar Gryffindor run too. In my head I also think a Ravenclaw would get the unforgivables in their quest for knowledge so it may be Hufflepuff is my only non-dark playthrough!
 
@Snippysnips azkaban is pretty early on! It was really cool to see it!!
I also was not a fan of all the spiders but I learned pretty quickly that expelliarmus was the best spell for them so I just kept shooting that as much as possible and it was a lot better!

Ooh I had been looking at the Disney game too!! I think I’ll get that at some point but I’m excited to get back to hogwarts! I’ve had friends visiting for a week and it’s been terribly inconvenient 😂😂

I’m thinking I’m going to keep my hufflepuff as a lovely nice character … and then I’m gonna do a slytherin play through and do the dark path

do you get different options being witch/wizard too? Would it be beneficial to choose a wizard for some houses?
 
The spiders are god awful lol, I would definitely take those pensive guardians over them any day, I've found doing the 3 spell combo worked, expellamus, a few hits then accio an a hit before using incendio to burn their asses 😅 it usually takes the smaller ones out pretty quick an for the bigger will deal good damage, also the chomping cabbages are definitely a great helper in keeping one or two occupied while you focus on another

Later in game you get far stronger spells that will almost finish them in one or two hits

Am guessing azkaban is for the jackdaw quest? Which means Slytherin gives you the mystery note that eventually leads you to scrope an the cave where you meet jack, ravenclaw you had to go to olivander an then the owlery where you got jack, what's the gryffindor one then? I actually think it's pretty cool they have done this an am wondering what else will have different steps for a quest

Tbh am not sure how different a witch or wizard is, I was more curious to see if maybe characters spoke differently towards you or not, I've only just done the jackdaw on my ravenclaw so I'll soon find out if it is different
 
Hey guys!! Playing this evening and I’m in a room in a turret near the hogwarts north exit. I’ve lifted a barrel and there’s a map on the floor but I can’t pick it up! On one hand it looks like a map of hogwarts so I assume I don’t need it, but on the other hand, why is it there if I can’t pick it up 😂

anyone else found it or know what it’s for?
