The woman with the puppy didn't keep him for long either, from what I saw via her WhatsApp and IG posts. She got another puppy after he outgrew the puppy phase and she never posted about him again, not even a tiny glimpse. My blood is boiling now.
People like this make me sick! I've met them a few times and all they want is the "baby" phase. They don't bother to properly train their puppy, so that when they get sick of them and pass them on the new owner finds it doubly difficult - they have rn older pup who has suddenly been dumped in a new environment and doesn't know what has happened to them, and may be frightened (and are certainly confused). The dog then misbehaves (because it doesn't know any different and also has no idea who these new people are. Because the pup is older (typically "teenage" when they become very mischievous/ disobedient anyway because of hormones) and because the window for easy training has passed, the new owner has a harder job their hands - and often the pup gets passed on again. And again. And again. An agin. And with every new environment it gets more and moe distressed because there has been no consistency in its life, and different people expect different things of it, and use different words for commands. And some people shout and smack, and the dog gets frightened (and a frightened dog is more likely to snap).
Eventually so many of these poor dogs end up dumped or euthanised because no-one has taken the time to build a relationship with them and teach them how to be good dogs. They've never found anyone prepared to let them learn how to love and their lives are spent in lonely misery.
Meanwhile their first owner has got another "cute" puppy. Maybe a series of "cute" puppies, and this horrible saga has happened to every one of them
ANIMALS ARE NOT DISPOSABLE!
They are living, breathing, sentient creatures with deep emotional lives and God loves them. Treat them with respect. If you don't want to take care of them properly - don't get them.
