Thanks for the new thread and title. :)

I haven't seen much positive reaction anywhere to this latest, and I'm not surprised. Plenty of pushback though.

IMO the backlash is swifter and harsher because of what we all saw happen to Catherine back in March. People aren't daft and they have long memories. It was quite clear where the bulk of the pile-on was coming from, and shame on all the RRs who joined in with the Squaddies.

Boozy was right there as usual. He's been bullying the Wales family for a long time. Yet he was part of the NF documentary.

Ditto Misan. He piled in about the photoshopping. And a couple of months later he accompanied the Harkles to Nigeria.

And the Wales children are bullied online every time they appear in public or their Mum shares a photo.

The Harkles have never once, to my knowledge, told their rabid fans to leave the kids alone. Not even after Catherine's cancer diagnosis was made public.

Haz can bang on all he likes about trying to reach out to Catherine and being worried for her. But the Squaddies are as rampant as ever. The kids can't enjoy a concert or a sports event without being pulled apart.

The Harkles can pontificate all they want, do interviews, hug people, etc. But actions speak louder than words and their hypocrisy is right there for all to see.

The absolute state of the BBC.

Rare?

(I just read 'd&dos' as 'dildos' which seems appropriate)

BBC have lost the bleeping plot. There was a news item about the interview on the early evening news. Why? Two private American citizens hold a tv interview? Who the duck cares? I'm going to hold an interview with my mum later about the state of the library service in the UK (she was a librarian) and ask the BBC to put a story about it on tomorrow's 6 O'clock news ... I think it'll be more relevant to the average viewer. Not doubt tit Morning Britain will be all over it tomorrow morning as they continue to scrape the bleeping barrel.

Saint meghan markle rears her wig bedecked, troweled on makeup visage, clacking veneered horsey teeth, surgically sculpted face again, adorned in an expensive boxy beige outfit with pushed up sleeves cause she is a cool fashion icon ya know, to once again pontificate to us lowly, ignorant minions about her victimhood. Shall we fall to our knees in gratitude? Shall we repent our bullying sins? (Do you think they edited out the part wherein she clasps her hands at her saggy chest and tearfully gazes to the heavens?) She really is repugnant.

All of those questions were scripted. She is not uncomfortable when blabbing about her faux suicidal thoughts, she is practicing her wonderous acting craft, just like she practiced for this interview in front of a mirror to hone her saintly expressions. She certainly lets her mask slip when the dummy interrupts her. And then she has to touch him without making an ick face. Shame on Jane Pauly for facilitating this cynical exploitation of these grieving parents pain. They make my skin crawl

I live in Suffolk. Our local bbc news is quite parochial. There is a joke that if anyone from here was on the Titanic it would have been reported as local man dies in boating accident.
I’m waiting for tomorrow night’s exclusive…man who used to holiday in East Anglia on talk show with wifey in a new wig

I'm confused...

I've just seen the trailer for the show about cooking, gardening and friendship.

Apparently, if you are going to hold a dinner party...
After hugging everyone you have to sit around and talk about child suicide.

It don't seem like much of a dinner party to me.

Do you get a prawn cocktail?

That is what defines a dinner party, obvs. Or at least it used to in the 60s
