I cannot work out which sister is his mother either! Neve Campbell plays one of them, she did not suffer fools gladly/was super bossy and organised. There is another one too, and she seemed just as Type A, no-nonsense. I think it is when Amelia and/or Meredith go to visit them for Thanksgiving, or something?
I like this new batch of interns, they have interesting backstories and relationships with each other. The Blue and Millin exchange about mothers/families was really eye-opening, and felt really organic and natural.
The dialogue is definitely more of a vehicle to shoe-horn in the current important topic ( Black Lives Matter, Roe v Wade being overturned…), @nd while I think it is really important to address these issues, I’d like the writing to do it in a more subtle way and let me think of ways to help fix/improve the situation, rather than have a character or two spell it out for me. I still think back to one of the first episodes, where Meredith has the same shoes as the victim, that she puts on after carrying around the perpetrator’s penis in an ice bix all day. It was a visual reminder that Meredith/any other woman could have been in the victim’s shoes. That, to me, was so much more powerful and thought-provoking than someone making a speech about how it could have been any of us, if we’d been in a different place at a different time.
Now I want to rewatch the whole Series from the start!
The next episode airs in February, so I have got plenty of time!
