Omg I didnt know there was a thread!!! Serena was such a teacher's pet. I liked the idea of her final dress as I love yellow, but the proportions were kind of weird imo? Either make the dress full length or shorten that tier on top. Whys she obsessed with Killing Eve, its like her fourth dress based off that show 😂 Rebecca's was a beautiful shape but bloody hated that floral fabric, so dated!

Raph and Damien were my favourites, Raph should have won. Farie sewed some cracking stuff throughout too. I can't believe Raph had never made a dress before he was on this show? He really is a talented guy. Going to miss this show, I studied fashion at uni and work as a fashion designer now so its v nostalgic seeing them make everything like I did in uni.

Also, Joe Lycett is fantastic 🥰
 
The details on Serenas dress were exceptional and I could see the Killing Eve inspiration. Not my thing but I could imagine it on a red carpet. Rebecca’s was wedding guest 100%, scuba feels cheap to me and it needs a lot less skill on the fittings. Ralph’s just didn’t look right somehow. I thought the drapes would be longer and as Mr Mr Mercury pointed out she looked like a quality street. The right fabric could ha r made all the difference.

Anyway I cried at her crying, other people crying and the little catch up at the end. I love this show ♥️

Raph pulling his angel wing t-shirt out again just to tease me because I don't have one. I loved the red lame but there was something not right about the hip bows? IDK?
I need Patrick with head band gifs.
Well done to Serena - many of us called it from the first episode for good reason.

Yeah although I think the programme as a whole has really changed over the years. It's noticeable when you watch the early ones. Its got camper and less serious. Also edging more into design than just sewing

That lamé fabric is very very floppy-doppy, great for draping but a bow or sash would need stiffener of some sort to make it keep it's shape. I'm surprised raph didn't foresee that, but then again they were in a rush and his model mate seemed to be making him more flustered rather than calming him.
Serena's yellow dress was horrible. Well sewn, but ugly. Rebecca's was lovely, but the fabric was a bit of a cheat in a fitting project.Plus, I doubt she's ever been to a festival if she thought beige and pale gold was a festival look.

Anyway, so Serena won. I didn't see that coming! said nobody ever.:ROFLMAO: She was the leader from day one. Good luck to her and the runners up. Great series again.

agree. He’s in a good position to capitalise on the exposure and he will have connections. What’s the betting Serena goes on to specialise in surgery? 😂
