Great British Bake Off #3 2022

He doesn't seem to be in anything else so maybe he has to stick with it to get money, I don't find him funny he is meant to be quirky but I have known far funnier and quirkier people who arent on TV.
I don't find him quirky I just find him cringe although I do like him on bake off

His comedy worked well in The Mighty Boosh but that was pretty surreal itself. He needs a straight man to play against otherwise it’s kooky without being funny. I don’t think his comedy works well on the Bake Off, but he doesn’t really do it much.

I’m going to watch it, I hated Matt Lucas and I’m hoping this brings new life to the series. For me I’m finding it running out of steam. I honestly think they need to go back to basics and replace Paul.
I find Paul extremely smug and arrogant. I just want to punch him sometimes! He’s like the Simon Cowell of the food world. Apparently it’s not going to be as hard as it has been so hopefully will be more bearable this year.

She's fat and jolly so 1. people feel obligated to laugh along with her even though she is not funny, and 2. seems non-threatening and pitiable, so people would try to be a saviour by recommending her for jobs and that's how she's been getting bigger and bigger roles over the years.

Haven't watched bake off for a couple of seasons and sure as hell ain't going to resume now!

Why is she pitiable?

Noel’s humour is wacky and spaced out. But he does seem to put contestants at ease. Sandy was great too, she is witty, clever and great at reading the room.

Matt got more relaxedtowards the end of his role and we did warm to him.

Alison is jolly but I don’t find her that entertaining nor funny.

Am not sure why Noel needs a co-host he could carry the hosting alone. I think Bake Off has hired Alison because she is ‘current’. Maybe even for diversity reasons?

This show has lost its way since it moved to channel four. I don't think Alison is gonna save it.

They need new judges and to rethink the format a bit. Probably less contestents so they can focus in on people a bit more. Give them less chance to practice so it's a bit more off the cuff. Get people who are more amature. I stopped watching when they started messing around with sugar glass, it's just not relatable to a home baker.

I'd also like the bald guy that does extra slice to present the main show.

I think Zoe Lyons would have been a good fit.

Saw her recently on world's most dangerous roads and she seemed so lovely and calm. Would really have balanced Noel out/supported the contestants.

He was on Bake off the professionals and was brilliant! They replaced him with Stacey Solomon and ruined it
