I'd like Syabira to win. I don't mind Abdul even though he seems to have snuck into the final out of nowhere. I haven't warmed to Sandro the whole series. I wish Janusz was there tonight instead

It's the least excited I've been for a while! They're all... nice? There's usually someone I really want to win and someone I'm fuming at the thought they're in the final. I think they've all been too stressed for their personalities to shine through. I'd like Abdul to win but whoever wins I'll be okay with. I don't see any of them going on to much tbh but few have since Nadiya.

I think Syabira deserves to win, she’s done some standout amazing bakes and is so creative. She’ll have to really duck up to lose I think. I like Sandro but he’s a bit more up and down, I remember he seemed really strong in the beginning though. Abdul seems to have coasted to the final, not really making any waves but just managing not to have been the worst each week. Not like he’s scraped through by the skin of his teeth like others have in the past, but feeling a bit mean I’d kind of be miffed if he won because he’s so forgettable but I’m sure he’s a nice person!

I like Sandro and Syabira but they’ve both had bad weeks, Syabira probably slightly better. Abdul has definitely just coasted his way through, I wouldn’t really like to see him win based on track record but it depends what kind of week they all have! I wish Janusz was in the final

Ah I’ve been hoping all series for a picnic spread as a challenge! First time this series I’ve actually wanted to eat some of it. The ‘meet the family’ slots always make me emosh

The fact that I've just recorded the final to quickly skim through tomorrow instead of watching right now, tells me that gbbo has completely lost it's charm. I use to LOVE bake off and would always sit down with a cuppa and a slice of cake for the final but not this year.

I said the same to my mum - all the showstoppers look unfinished. But I do think the crazy orangutan is quite cute!
