Josh’s and Matty’s parents would prefer Matty to win as he’s the only one who has any character and seems not to take it too seriously unlike the rest of the contestants.

I was suprised when we were reminded how good some of Josh’s prior bakes have been after the recap they did at the start, so think he will probably clinch it.

I feel like Dan might lose it as he is soooo competitive and is already making some slip ups.

I don’t find it tiresome, I find it quite endearing. At his age it is probably his first immediate family bereavement and with it only being 2 years ago it is still recent.

I think he will win going by the 2 bakes so far.

Controversial opinion but I think Josh is smugger than Dan. He always has a self-congratulatory little smile on his face when he knows he's smashed it. It's not the first episode I've noticed it.

I don’t think many of the 3 would’ve made the final in prior series? Can’t really remember many outstanding bakes but then it hasn’t really kept my attention this series.
