Yeah some of them just have the charisma to go further I guess. Crystelle has been on American TV and does BBC Morning Live sometimes too.

I’m team Josh.
I agree none of the bakers have stood out this series. Nothing against Josh or Matty, they seem nice enough but like someone said earlier I wouldn’t seek them out on social media. If they go back to doing what they normally do I think that’s quite refreshing as you get contestants trying to make a career out of being a tv baker and it doesn’t always work.
I think Tasha is a good baker but I think the pressure was getting to her a bit towards the end.
This week kinda showed me that Noel can’t host on his own and without interesting contestants the show is a bit bland. I am creeped out by Paul and how everyone seems to be obsessed over him and his bloody hand and Prue has been relegated to second in command or drunk old lady.

I'm so glad I'm not alone...He irritates the crap out of me...Forever walking around with his big teeth hanging out for all to see, I really hope he does not win.

No one can ever be Mary Berry, I always loved the way that even when someone made something bad she would give her opinion but always end off with something nice in the form of encouragement or some compliment of some sort. She is a true lady and a big loss to Bake off in my opinion.
 
Typical me fashion, I've found this thread the week of the final. Probably the first series in a long time that I've consistently watched each week because my 8-year-old LOVES baking and we've watched together. We all like Matty and Josh and would be happy for either to win, although Matty just edges it for me. For me, Tasha was just consistently "good" (still had some horrors, as they all have) throughout the whole show, and never really made any progress, whereas Matty and Josh have got better as time has gone on. Agree, Dan is just annoying and smug. Pretty forgettable bunch of people in all honesty 😅

The way this thread talks about Dan has been crackingggg me up 🤣 Who would've thought that a guy whose hobby is baking cakes could attract such ire?

Josh for the win for me! I like his quiet calm demeanour!
