The people are fine, they're just not very memorable. I'm glad we're back to giving them time and letting do their best, but there's nobody with character left.

Also, did anyone see that Tasha was laughing at Noel's jokes without looking at her sign language lad?

Tasha's definitely out. Shame as I do actually like her (unlike some here!) and she seemed like a shoo in earlier in the series. But fell foul of trying to overcomplicate it as she has a few times already!

Said it last week, Paul has a real issue with Josh, that bake was basically perfect but Paul HAD to find fault. Pru better step up in the decision

It started off as a genuine compliment and didn't really mean anything. But since Paul has become the defacto head judge on C4, his ego has gone to the next level and he makes such a thing of his handshakes now.

I wouldn’t touch his hand. Gives me mega ick. Like Jamie Oliver. Neither look like they wash their hands

If Josh doesn't get star baker I'll be fuming! But they probably will anyway to give the "all had 2 SBs each" thing they set up earlier in the episode

Of the two, Matty had the stronger week objectively IMO... but Hollywood's history of judging means he'll be going home.
