I saw his live show a year or so ago, he was one arrogant, condescending, patronising, smug tw*t. Can't even bear to watch any of his shows on TV nowI think James Martin could work well as a judge

Even though he’s a cook and not a baker, can we pair her up with Nigel Slater? Lovely manHow about Nadiya Hussein? She maybe hasn't got the cv behind her to replace Paul but I think she could definitely replace Prue
I miss bakes actually looking good! I loved Kim-joy and Manon’s bakes

Tasha only managed to get them cooked because she didn’t follow the instructions and cooked them in the oven rather than the bain-marie.Paul is really starting to annoy me. The technical this week that he was so disappointed with was more of a reflection on him. The bakers obviously didnt have enough time if all bar 1 weren't actually able to do it in the time allowed. And even Tasha's one wasnt great.
I thought he was very rude with Saku. At one stage while she was baking he went to shake her hand and then he pulled away and brought his thumb to his nose and made a gesture.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEven though he’s a cook and not a baker, can we pair her up with Nigel Slater? Lovely man
I forgot about that!! So the whole steamed pudding thing was just impossible to achieve then. Her puddings were still slightly raw so they really didn't give them enough time!Tasha only managed to get them cooked because she didn’t follow the instructions and cooked them in the oven rather than the bain-marie.
I’ve been rewatching some old episodes on the Food Network and it was much more watchable before. I think it worked previously because the contestants were genuinely baking enthusiasts, the challenges weren’t outlandish yet still interesting, and Mel and Sue weren’t trying solely to be funny and steal the show - they recognised the contestants made the programme.I miss the BBC days. I find a can 'watch' an episode and have barely looked up from my phone. It just doesn't capture my attention any more. I also liked it when they spent more time making things people at home could attempt, and bakes we had heard of.

I was never a fan of the presenters or judges - I think the best one was Sandi and Noel.I never understood the Mel and Sue love tbh. Mary Berry was cute in an old lady way but I didn't rate her either. I agree they could change it up but I am a Prue stan!
i think Noel and Alison are a good pairing - i feel like they have a genuine connection. Always felt it was very forced with Matt Lucas.I was never a fan of the presenters or judges - I think the best one was Sandi and Noel.
I can't stand Nadiya now she was never my favourite in tent but she was consistent and a great Baker, one of the 1st to use unusual flavour combinations, as time has gone on, I find her over the top and annoying, I'd say it's more a personality thing for me.How about Nadiya Hussein? She maybe hasn't got the cv behind her to replace Paul but I think she could definitely replace Prue
He was the reason I didn't bother at all with the last series. Can't abide himi think Noel and Alison are a good pairing - i feel like they have a genuine connection. Always felt it was very forced with Matt Lucas.
