Sorry I don't believe the passing out (or whatever it was) either. I think she had a good 2 weeks previously and panicked when she had one bad round. Being advised to have a break that week = automatically getting through to the next week !!!

My husband and I alternate baking something to the theme. He’s fuming as he’s been lumped with bread and now next week is pastry he is very much a beginner baker.

I do think this year Bake Off has managed to find me more interested than it has for a few years.

In the past few years I would 'watch' it. But I'd get the end of the show and find that I hadn't looked up from my phone and had no idea what happened all episode.

I love Saku, she is so sweet. Nicky can be a bit loud and attention seeking sometimes. I don't mind Tasha, I think she is just getting on with it. I got the impression that she was already unwell but thought she was okay enough to bake that day, from the little snippet with Alison.

As a sidenote, how do they always manage to do chocolate week on the hottest week of the year? Every single time.
