Thanks to @loval for the new thread title and to @dinosaursideways for nominating it! We ended the last thread with the unutterable horror of Grace’s luggage going missing on her 1037th flight of the year, including her medication, hideous outfits and a monstrous bag of orange facepaint aka her make-up. Lucky for our Greg she has some beleaguered employees she can send out to sephora instead of just making do for a couple of days like a normal person.

In other news, Grace got her wrists slapped by the ASA for breaking own brand advertising rules, she saw the most urgent issue facing voters during the election as Poor Women Investors and Business Owners Being Disadvantaged, and she continues to wear the ugliest clothes known to mankind at every opportunity.

Her brands continue to flog tit quality, ugly ass products; the reviews for Tala’s shapewear and trenchcoat being recent highlights. Grace continues to be a terrible, toxic boss, and the Tala and Shreddy socials continue to be a mess.

Objectively hilarious

As a graphic designer, the tone of her flyers and napkins just feels so corny and cliché...

Also, I guess they're called T/ala now?

It's also so similar to this hotel membership campaign (which released a year ago and definitely came first)

I mean, it was a temporary coffee cart with a tiny rack of tshirts and leggings on the side of the road…I’m not sure if that counts as being part of NY fashion week…

I could literally go over there and stand on the side of the road with a coffee machine and a rail selling my own clothes like some car boot sale then post on Instagram that I was at New York fashion week.

Whose dumb stupid embarrassing idea was this? (Greg no doubt)

For a brand that’s supposed to be ‘massive’ surely one of these braindead Greg disciples would have pointed out that this whole exercise is giving 9 year old kid’s lemonade stand…

Was her outfit planning so she could stand on the side of the street in New York??? This is not the flex she thinks it is.

The text on this sign reads so poorly. How did this get past Grace's meticulous QA? 🤣

Good god, Grace, would it kill you to hire an experienced copywriter?

My honest guess would be that she has interns/grads doing this so she can pay them as little as possible, but doesn't she also do "approvals" for everything too? She's really not very bright, is she?

But proof reading is literally the easiest thing ever. How on earth does this happen every time?

I mean she's obviously there for the PR part (meetings and so forth) which I understand has a valid reason in my opinion. The coffee campaign is a bit of a blop of course, ironically those 1-use plastic cups for ice lattes are very in brand 🤪

Tala reviews as for now https://www.trustpilot.com/review/wearetala.com?stars=1&stars=2&stars=3

And this is EVEN with probably thousands of fake reviews to keep the stars up there.

Tala is a victim of its own greenwashing, if she went ahead on being as any other influencer brand (Made in China and 85% chances of being on sale in TK Maxx), it would actually make sense and nobody would blink an eye. Is the whole greenwashing which leads to hating on this.

Many MANY other brands, big and small, are making big efforts on improving their supply chain to literally save the world from climate change. This is just not it...

Does this woman have any brain cells at all? With all this constant ‘forward planning’ she supposedly does wouldn’t she think to notice how she’s been on one million holidays this year and in between each one (which is max one week btw) she posts about being burnt out? witch try having two kids and a full time job and not enough cash for a holiday. She has no bleeping idea what burn out is. If her idea is having to take a night flight in business/first class where you get a literal BED and then going into work the next day is burn out then she needs her head checked. MOST of us have gotten a night flight in economy and had to go into work the next day. She’s not saving lives. She’s a pathetic, basic influencer who poses as a boss babe. I’m raging seeing that post today. I need this woman to experience her due karma for being so self-absorbed

They have always had to have the / in the name because there was already a lighting company called Tala way before GraceFit was even an instagram account and they probably got the copyright/ trademark rejected. Will also be why their instagram is ‘wearetala’
