So, here is the gossip so far. Piers stated live on air that he didn't believe Meghan Markle's claim that she was suicidal. This caused controversy. Piers was, the next day partaking in a discussion involving Alex Beresford. Alex seemed to taunt Piers, on being rejected by Meghan. Piers walked off set live on air.

It was later 'mutually agreed' that Piers would not be returning to the show. Since then, there has been awash of rumours and gossip. Now, Alex Beresford has sparkes ofcom complaints after taking Piers's position as anchor of the show.

In other news, Patsy Palmer cancelled her interview with Ben & Susanna, after being branded as 'addict to wellness guru' in a live interview from her Malibu home. Patsy later spoke out on social media that she was annoyed that they chose to mention this when she only had "5 minutes of air time" when she wanted to dicuss her new business venture.

So, what next for GMB? Susanna is billed to be the show's only flagship host, according to the Daily Mail.

*I thought this show could do with it's own thread, I did search to see if there was a GMB thread, but there didn't appear to be one. As this show often makes headlines itself, I'm sure there will be plenty to discuss.
 
I’m sure there is already a GMB thread...or it might be a Piers Morgan thread.

I personally think a show like GMB will only generate headlines if it has someone or something to generate them, which is what Piers Morgan did. Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd won’t cut it. And that’s fine, if that’s the kind of show ITV want but there’s a reason Daybreak got revamped several times in a short space of time before they settled on the Piers/Susanna GMB combo, and that’s because Daybreak just didn’t work. It wasn’t serious and stoic enough to be a contender for BBC breakfast news but the celeb gossip element ITV favours didn’t work with people like Adrian Chiles and Aled Jones at the helm.

I can see another revamp by next year.
 
The Sun reporting that Kate & Susanna are the best combination. I tend to agree. I can't take to Ranvir. Ben is a nice man but he's dull. Adil Ray is an actor, not a journalist, so not right for the show.

I agree, Kate has some personality. The rest including Susanna are all just generic copies of one another. Also what is with that massive desk? TV news moved on from the regimental desk style to a more casual nature, GMB have gone back in time.
