We randomly watched an episode from series 7 (or 8?) the other day and honestly I can’t understand why Ellie & Izzy are still theeeeere. They bring nothing and never really have

I watch old episodes from time to time and they just grate on my nerves.

They used to attempt to talk about what they were watching, but in more recent times mistakenly think that endless tripe about aunties - real or imaginary - is entertaining to the viewers. They should get a lot less screen time, it might make them cop on.

That was so annoying. I said to myself watching it, that’s so annoying and I looked at my husband and I said that is so annoying and he said I know they’re so annoying and I said I wish they would be replaced because they’re both, and me and my husband said at the same time, so annoying. I were going to ring my aunty Gail and tell her about it but she’s upset with my uncle tom so I’ll text her tomorrow about how annoying it were because she’s moody with everyone with she’s upset with uncle tom. It’s really annoying.

You do really wonder what is going on at Apple TV. They throw huge amounts of money at series and films, that are either shite, or nobody watches them.

The only time I've ever had Apple TV is when I've got a free subscription. Slow Horses and Ted Lasso are the only thing I'd actually pay for. They do produce a lot of expensive crap.

I started watching it from the beginning again, thanks for the idea @ChastityDingle and I completely forgot the Siddiquis were in it from day one! It was sad seeing how many have passed now. George was actually very funny in it.

We had spam sandwiches because I’d said to my husband I fancy a spam sandwich and my husband said to me you know what I really want a spam sandwich as well and I said you know what we should have for dinner then and then at the same time we both said SPAM SANDWICHES so then we made spam sandwiches.

Do you mean George? His wife Alison knits, a lot. I don't think Helena (his stepdaughter) does.

He speaks a little bit more now than he used to. I used to be fascinated to see if he ever spoke. Helena usually makes some smartarse comment if he says anything so he probably finds it easier to stay fairly quiet.

I can’t remember what he said but a while ago he said something ‘rude’ about penises or sex or something and I remember being shocked I can’t remember what it was though, I’ll have to do a rewatch!
