Ginny and Georgia

I just started season 2 and I think the main problem is that the team clearly want to make Ginny more likeable and in doing so they chose to make Georgia more extreme than before. It seems to miss the mark a bit and turns the characters a bit cartoon-y/one dimensional

Also, they seem to be relying heavily on the self-harm stuff which is fine but the way in which it is done seems very surface level also, and it rubs me the wrong way that it seems to be the main way in which to make Ginny likeable

90% of the time Ginny has a scowl on her face - I know they are trying to make her out to be a moody teenager but it is so annoying.

Also I want to like Max as a character, but she is insufferable 😂 😂 😂

She didn’t but I think she saw a different side to things when she saw Gil threatening Georgia at the school, I think it made her think and then she blacklisted Gil from looking at properties in the town to keep him away
Yeah I guess so!

"Cynthia and Joe getting together was ridiculous. It didn't bring anything to the show and seems totally out of character for both of them..."]

I love Georgia but I‘m having mixed opinions on her killing Tom… she had no right to do it but you could see how much they were struggling
the first time she sees Tom at the house and meets the nurse/carer person there’s a like about people not being able to play God or something to that effect
I think it’s a great reflection of Georgia’s murders - as I understand it the men basically deserved it in most (if not all) cases and Georgia was “punishing” them for it, sort of taking the role of God in doing so. Without the religious stuff, she was taking the role of the judiciary/law enforcement when she killed them, and would be taking the role of the doctor with Tom - professionals who have a lot of power in general, but also I’d say still male dominated fields too

Literally so much could have been solved so much sooner if Georgia and Ginny just talked it out. Why did it take 3 pointless episodes to do that

I finished episode 6 and I really hope that these episodes are building up to something "big" rather than just being filler
Atm it feels like the writers don't really know how to move the story forward so its a lot of pointless Ginny being moody and hanging out with extra annoying and unrealistic friends and Georgia being Georgia. I never really put her as one who ruins her relationships with guys so early on - she's really pushing on the guy's buttons and they're not even married yet. It makes sense with narcissistic tendancies but it is very very obvious

The social messaging is so weird too. The nurse does comment on how they are not here to play God in regard to Tom (I wouldn't open if not finished with season ->) (though it's possibly not that weird given the conclusion to that), (feel free to open if past episode 6 ->) then there's the random gun rant from whats-his-name and the scene where Austin drops the gun he finds. I'm guessing it's very much for American audience but I wouldn't exactly want those sort of lectures while watching a show anyway
