Ginny and Georgia

I really liked him too. It was so sweet when the penny finally dropped for him! Couldn't quite figure out if Georgia has realised who he was though

Georgia knew who he was and was impressed that he had named his horse milkshake like she had wanted to call her horse if she had one. I enjoyed the show Ginny got on my nerves a bit especially when you see everything Georgia went through to keep her and try to give them a good life.
I hope if theres a season 2 we see more of Joe, he was lovely.

Yeah I also thought she was fixated on going to that town because she had met Joe and thought how happy/rich all those kids looked and wanted something similar so I think she had always thought of Joe - and then as you say she mentioned milkshake to him. I found that whole storyline cute af and Joe is so wholesome 🤍🤍

Anyone else think Ginny is a bit of a brat.
Yes!!! Ive just finished watching she is so self absorbed.

she discovered or appeared to understand, her mum did this all to protect her and her brothen runs off with her brother at the end and all i could think of is her being charged with kidnapping🤣
S

I understand Georgia not sharing everything her kids are just that kids and Ginny seems to think the world is out to get her. Giant chip on her shoulder.

It was an ok show. Not one i could binge until later in the season then Ginny became annoying 😬

Some terrible writing but veryyyy binge worthy series

I honestly feel like this was the most interesting relationship though it was dealt with so terribly by the writers. He was clearly a very performative boyfriend and the whole relationship was forced by the friends, but instead of exploring that they just gave Ginny the guy she kissed in the first 5 minutes of meeting smh

Also, I must say the Sweet 16 episode really ruined immersion for me. The characters don't look those ages for the most part, and then having to process the fact that it's a series about a bunch of 15 year olds holding parties, drinking and being sexual is... yeah no. I don't normally mind the whole thing because I can play it off as the characters being older without having to go through the logic that they're still at school but that episode made it so much harder.

I love this show, it was dramatic and fun but man I wish they'd get younger people to write teens cause this is not how they talk...or act

Yes! She drove me up the wall. She was so self-centred & bratty! So many great characters but I think she was the least likeable for me. Really enjoyed it though & can’t wait for S2 👍🏼

Am I the only one really liked Joe?! I wanted him to end up with Georgia, he just seems like such a nice guy! :)
Me too! I loved the back story too. Do you think she remembers him? She’s such a great character, I think she’d walk all over him but they’d be a very sweet couple ☺️

I only discovered this programme the other day and I love it… Ginny is annoying but also isn’t that just part of teenage brattiness? I don’t mind the drinking/sex stuff to a certain extent as to be honest it just reminds me exactly how I was as a teenager 🙈 I think she is just acting out as she finally made friends and it’s all new to her.

I’ve just watched the 16 episode.. Hunter does seem too nice, the tap dance thing made me cringe and I just kept thinking how in real American high schools he would probably be laughed at. I would have been mortified!

Edited to add: when do we find out who Joe is? Have I missed a significant part? I’ve been watching it while working 🤔
