I’m an episode behind as I’m watching on Now TV but Marnie and Casey have been the ones talking the most about their kids behaviour and how Rox is boisterous etc.

Jake does come across quite bad but I think if I was in that situation I’d feel exactly the same. Of course kids make a mess but as parents you need to clean it up 😂 Charlotte is definitely on edge/anxious as she’s probably persuaded Jake to go on the holiday and is desperately trying to appease him and make him feel comfortable as GS is “her thing” and he’s only there to make her happy.

Jake did hit the nail on the head though, living with Marnie is like living with a scruffy university student. When she went into her room and brought out plates and just left them in the kitchen without cleaning them. I would probably explode 😂

I can say that when I went with my Aunty to pick up my cousin from his student accommodation, the amount of plates she found in his room hahahaha. She was disappointed mostly as he never did at home. But when you're a uni student you don't really have any rules in regards to cutlery hahahaha.
I do think that Charlotte has kinda outgrown GS, after re-watching the episode like other tattlers, It was like charlotte was a nagging mam... (I mean she is a mum now) and marnie being the teenager. I see also, that Charlotte and Jake were out of order in terms of how they said things. I still think Marnie and Casey are too laid back for me in terms of their parenting. Each to their own I guess.

Again as i've said before, as an aunty and if my nephew made that mess on the sofa i would clean it up and if I was using the highchair and my nephew made a mess like that... I would still clean up the high chair knowing that the high chair is being used not just by my nephew but other children who were sharing the high chair. that's just me though. I'm not a parent, but I can Imagine that having two kids or even one, let alone 3 or more can be stressful at times.

Honestly, credit to any tattler who is a parent raising kids on your own or with a partner, family etc. Credit to you guys.

edit: as an aunty to my nephews I always make sure to continue the rules that they have with their mam and dad when I babysit them sometimes.
 
I find it hilarious that Marnie and *Cody (there’s an article in the sun calling him Cody) that say Rox is full on, we’ll be too much for them blah blah blah and then complaining no one will help and crying when people are only basically repeating what they say. They don’t parent their kids. They’re lazy scruffs who feel entitled. Charlotte was a bit of a liability in GS but from what you see with Alba (obviously we only see what she posts), she looks like a decent mum. What Marnie doesn’t seem to have grasped is that a holiday with other people involves taking into consideration other people. You might want to live like a clarty bastard at home, but it’s not fair on other people. You’re no longer 20 and living in the Geordie shore house.
 
I haven't got round to watching the episodes, just seen clips on tiktok and read bits online. How long ago was it filmed? Could Charlotte be being OTT with the cleaning because of her mums cancer treatment or was it filmed when she was given the all clear

It was filmed in April, during her treatment.

I put this on Marnie's thread might as well add this on here. Casey's in the comments on the latest Geordie Shore post blaming editing and dragging Sophie into it now

I though that myself regarding the cleanliness could be cos of her mum but she definitely shown signs of anxiety as well when it come to cleaning.

Yes! Charlotte was extremely anxious and you can see that Jake didn’t want to be there. Charlotte made out like Jake was excited to hang out with the guys but didn’t leave her side at all. Jake definitely thinks he is above GS and isn’t here for it which is great for Charlotte because majority of her ex’s wanted to be with her for the clout.

Also why did she target Casey when he was feeding his child in a different high chair at the time ? And there were other parents in the villa as well.. what’s to say production didn’t put it there to cause more drama?

let’s be real it’s no “honey moon” they are all there for a pay cheque..

Also if the rest of the season continues without another drama in the family villa, it will show who the real problem was. And the fact that majority of them especially Nathan have all said Charlotte has changed and is judgemental must have some truth to it.
 
I think Charlotte has just grown up. If your nan has died, you’ve just had a baby and your mum has cancer, you’re probably not that bothered about the stupid goings on of people like Nathan and Chloe.

It seems like Sophie and Marnie have drifted apart but to be honest I’m not surprised. Marnie comes across as a witch and very much seems like she wants to the centre of attention.

Jake obviously didn’t want to be there. He’s quite happy to use Charlotte’s cash from Geordie shore and you could see she was in a real difficult spot. Jake should’ve just stayed at home.
 
I can see both sides! Marnie and Casey should have been way more clean (even if they couldn’t constantly clean after the kids, it was clear they were just messy) and Charlotte and Jake shouldn’t have been so highly strung. I feel like Jake rules the roost and Charlotte panics and panders after him and I agree Jake thinks he’s above gs. I think the idea for the show was a mess, they all should have had diff rooms in a hotel or something, a villa full of toddlers was never going to work
 
I haven't watched the new eps yet, but keep seeing the clips on tiktok. I've never liked marnie, I'm an OG GS kinda girl so Charlotte and Holly all the way for me. They were all jealous of Charlotte and Gaz because they had the personality that intrigued people, and were the first ones to make big money. I think Charlotte is the only one who is still pretty much the same as she was when she started, although she seems to have grown up a bit!

This whole high chair drama is ridiculous tbh! If I needed a high chair for my baby and some dirty bastards had used it and not cleaned it, I'd say something as well tbh! And I wouldn't have been as passive aggressive about it either like Charlotte, using a general "guys we need to clean when we've used something" 🤣
 
I didn't know what thread to put this in as all three threads, this one, Charlotte's and Marnie's are all about the same thing but Casey's ramblings about the editing made me look back at the postings I had put about all of this last year on Charlotte's thread when I noticed things where off. And um call me physic cos wtf how'd I basically call everything that's happened so far?

I love your input to these threads but something makes me think you’re close to the whole GS world! You’re spot on with everything you say!
