Game of Thrones (no unaired spoilers)

They think we're all thick. Theres no trying to read between the lines or second meanings to what people are saying... it's all black and white and overly explained now. Can't help but feel almost insulted?
Yeah the show has definitely stoped treating the viewers as intelligent individuals. It's all spoon fed and lots of it has been predictable. Oh euron jumping out again with his ships, and they expected dragon stone to be safe after leaving it for months / weeks while cersi is building up her army. The plot amor in the battle ruined the threat for me.

I hope Jamie doesn't sacrifice himself to save Brianne and have a final redemption, it's just too obvious and brain dead Hollywood.

I think Jamie is on his way to kill cersei!
I hope so. Wasn’t that one of the predictions made for Cersei in the books? Although it could also be Tyrion.
I'm not convinced I'm going to like how the show ends, will be very interested to see the direction the books go in compared to this rushed series 8.
Same. Although I kind of think GRR Martin is hoping he’s going to die before he has to finish them 😬

One to throw out there.
The hound and the mountain are definitely due a fight. It's gonna go down 1 of 2 ways. Either the hound will save Arya in a fight and die in the process or Arya will kill the mountain while trying to save the hound, but he'll die anyway.

Also I'm making a big assumption that those who have stayed in the north are safe now?

I just can't see how Dany is going to win though? 1 Dragon and a handful of soldiers isn't going to beat Cersei?

I think the only way they'll win is if someone kills Cersei, kinda like with the night king - she falls they all fall.

I was worried before s8 even started that it's going to be disappointing, and sadly it has so far. It's still enjoyable but it had the potential to be so much more.

I'm watching fan videos rewriting episodes and prefer them 😆

Maybe the second sons are on their way over? There has to be some suprise to make the odds go more in danys way. Maybe the golden company will turn on cersi as she paid the iron bank in full.

Yara will popup for backup next week for sure

I massively think it was a money thing. Get it over with quick and spend everything HBO would let them. Then gives GRRM all the time in the world because everyone that is still waiting for the books already knows loosely how it ends.

I don't quite get why hbo would want to get it over with? They're going to loose alot of subs once it all ends.

Bran better be the night king, he went back to try to prevent the children creating him then got stuck in his body as he went back too far for too long. That's with the night king wants him dead so he stays lost. Also while the battle happened he caused the mad king by trying to get wildfire for the battle. It's the most popular long running theories and I'd rather they were true than that storyline just ends.

@Lemonwater, you're welcome! So glad you joined us here, Nardy! [emoji2][emoji2]
Really gutted that Rhaegal died tbh. Poor thing. [emoji22] I never thought Daenerys wouldn't wait for Jon. She's waited so long, so surely she could've waited two more weeks, which is how long it would take him to get there? Next episode he'll be there, so that means Daenerys waited those two weeks? After they killed her dragon and Missandei and her being so pissed off? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!! Maybe she went glamping. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
I was never fond of Missandei, so didn't mind her dying, but why didn't she jump instead? Surely she knew her death would be painful af?
I was so rooting for Tyrion to mention Jamie being the baby daddy! He would've ended everything there and then as Euron would've probably killed Cersei!
Sansa is really grinding my gears these days. Everything is about how she hates Daenerys bla bla bla, I mean, she never gave her a chance? At least Daenerys did something during the battle, instead of hiding in a corner not knowing how to hold a knife?
Poor Ghost broke my heart. [emoji24][emoji24] As did Brienne and Gendry! [emoji24][emoji24]
Can nobody keep a secret? Bloody hell!!
Lena Headey is such a brilliant actress, someone please give the woman a Golden Globe!

The remaining book/s are nowhere to be seen so the series doesn’t have to cover anywhere near as much as the books will, so they just show the juicy parts that will get the ‘wow’ and leave on a high without drawing things out for too long and aggravating people too much, then any questions left will be for the prequels/sequels, which will likely have a much, much lower budget than s8 but will still likely have enough viewership that they’re not worried about losing too much. I don’t think any of the questions about the night king will actually be answered and left for these shows to deal with.

I've no idea why Jon and Geordie Man rode South. Are they leading an army? It can't be that big surely they would just have fit on Danys ships?
Well they said some of the dethraki still existed, it was so empty at the funerals but they claim to have the same numbers as cersi.

Dany and her Starbucks cup in shot, if even she isn't using a reusable how on earth is she going to change the world! All for a herbal tea too.

What episode is Starbucks in??

I cried laughing at the memes

Re Yarra, they have mentioned in the ep4 that Euron has taken over the iron islands so since Yarra had gone to claim them back, I assume he either killed or captured her.

I also think that the Knight kind is a Targaryen which is why fire didn’t kill him [emoji848]

I completely agree with the House/Mountain/Arya situation unfolding

With Dany - I feel like she's turned/tuning into the 'Mad Queen' and I think we might see her try to kill Jon with Drogon to stop him getting in her way now the tea has been spilled, but he wont die in the fire cos he's Targaryan and people will realise he is the true king.

Alternative Arya storyline is that she kills Dany? Mellisandre said she will close brown eyes, green eyes, blue eyes. Obviously in the book Dany has purple eyes, but I think they are green in the TV show so perhaps Arya will use a face to kill Dany?

Edit - I forgot to add that I think Jaime is off to kill Cersei as his character has developed too much to turn back now. I think he purposely tried to hurt Brienne to make it easier to leave. I think he's realised no one can get close enough to Cersei to kill her

My friend came up with an outlandish but brilliant plot twist. She was very drunk at the time though :ROFLMAO:

Jamie gets killed before he reaches Cersei. Arya puts on his face pretending to be Jamie and gains access to Cersei in order to kill her, however, she's too late as Cersei dies while giving birth .... to a dwarf .... just like her mother did with Tyrion.

I have to disagree - there was a point where Jon grabbed a lantern and burnt his palm, and Dayenerys not knowing this would assume that he is fire resistant and wouldn’t try to kill him that way.

Also think the eye color etc was only in reference to the night king rather than meaning that Arya is going to go on and kill everyone who matches the description and fits the plot. They can’t use the same trick twice.

I agree about Jamie telling Brienne about his dark side, knowing that she values the good qualities in people it would be the worst she could hear and make it easier for her to let him go and not mourn him should he die.

Ooooooh

I hope Dany doesn't go mad queen, my thoughts are as an audience, we've invested too much in her character for it all to go wrong at this point. Varys is definitely going to be incinerated dragon style for treason, he's hinted in the past that would be his fate. Also think Jamie could be going to kill Cersei, she will only be killed by someone who can get close enough to her, at the moment, the only people who could do that are the Mountain, Jamie, Euron, possibly Tyrion and Qyburn, so if its Arya to do the deed, she would have to be disguised as one of those people. Loose ends to tie up, what about Daario? I had a thought this morning, that after Emilia Clarke saying episode 5 was her favourite, what if Daario and the second sons have infiltrated the Golden Company and attack Kings Landing from within. Another theory I've read, there are more dragons. Drogon dissappeared for quite a while, where was he/she during that time?, we assume dragons are male etc but no-one knows for sure. Fan theory is Drogon has baby dragons.

On Thronecast they talked about no-one ever listens to Sansa, she can't fight but she is an excellent politician and strategist, the way they finally corned Littlefinger was down to her. She will survive I'm sure and be in it till the end, Arya, I'm now thinking either she will survive, but then dissappear, or we'll never know if she's dead or alive at the end.
