Funniest podcasts please

Good evening Tattlers

I’m flying in a week and after a history of big fat panic attacks and galloping anxiety around flights and planes, I’ll need a laugh.

Can anyone recommend any really funny podcasts, actual proper belly laugh ones?

My favourite telly comedies over the years have been This Country, Sex and the City, The Day Today, and the only radio thing I can think of that’s made me properly laugh is the Unbelievable Truth (and that’s gone off the boil).

Open to anything; sketch, series, lifestyle chat things… but it needs to be a podcast as part of my recovery is getting my eyes away from a screen and looking around me.

Any suggestions welcome ❤️

Hello!

Shagged married annoyed is my favourite! Very funny, parts just stupid and silly but funny 😊 lighthearted!

If you like sex and the city there is a podcast for that haven’t listened myself yet but it is on my list!

I want to suggest Normal Gossip (a big current fave) - it's not comedy per se but bit is funny and what made me think it'd be good for your situation is that it's absorbing and engaging whilst being very light and conversational.

Thanks @DrSheldonCooper and @somepeople!

Keep ‘em coming.

I absolutely devoured the Sentimental Garbage podcasts about SATC; they were so helpful they managed to get me engaged enough to get to 10k every time I went out for a run. I like Dolly Alderton a lot but only when she’s got someone else to bounce off and isn’t in “serious” mode.

Especially when she’s talking about fancying people :)

I’ve just started Nearly Weds with Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, I think it’s so funny!

I didn’t even know who Sophie Habboo was before I listened, so it’s not like I was listening as a super fan!

Parenting Hell with Josh Widdicome and Rob Beckett is funny too (I’m not even a parent)

There’s some funny episodes of Off Menu with James Acaster and Ed Gamble, I often laugh out loud at some of those episodes!

Dear Joan and Jericha has made me pee my pants several times
