That was the worst part of it for me. You could tell they had a strict time limit but they took up time with useless celebrity cameos. We didn’t need a drama school explanation of the pivot scene from Kit Harrington. Anyone learning a language uses sitcoms and other tv shows to learn a language (like all the BTS fans who watch Korean shows to learn Korean). It was rude to try to upstage Lisa with Lady Gaga. Not only with the signing but also guitar playing. Just have Lisa sing Smelly Cat and some of the other songs. David Beckham doing anything to stay relevant is cringe. I agree with other posters that it was Corden and (his) Friends.

Meanwhile The Gellars couldn’t even get on stage and Gunther was zoomed in for all of 2 minutes? Also the cuts from the live portion to the pre-recorded set talks and script reading were jarring.

I’m glad I watched it but once is enough. It’s not something I’m going to seek out to watch after I finish a series rewatch.
 
Annoyed if this is true! 😫 why cut that out 😠

I found it really sad seeing Perry that way. He’s clearly had a lot of demons and I find it so hard to detach from him being Chandler so it makes me sad to think he’s suffered when he was such an amazing character.

I think David, Lisa and Matt have aged normally, they all look like what you would expect. Courtney looks strange, she was gorgeous back then and it’s only been 17 years. My mum is the same age as Jenifer, same body type but has aged naturally and just looks so so much better than she does! She was a stunner but I can’t get my head around all the surgery. Such a shame really, makes her face emotionless.

I always knew it would be a stark comparison because although friends is nearly 20 years old it’s still current for a lot of people. Anyone that you was to see a 17-27 year jump in age would be a shock. Same with greys anatomy, people are only just watching that now and in the early days they look so much younger so it’s abit of a shock to the system when you see characters now.

Very true. If you hadn’t seen Friends since it stopped in 2004 and then the cast turned up, you’d be like “oh yeah that was a long time ago, of course they look older now”. But because you can put your telly on and watch an episode from 1998 any time you like, you think that’s what they should look like! And to be fair to the cast, that must mess with their heads too. No wonder they’d try to keep that youthful look that everyone thinks of them as having. Matt and Lisa must be the most grounded to not have let it get to them. And poor Matt seems to have changed more because of his illness/addictions than his cosmetic needs!

I don’t think he looks too bad. I’m really enjoying it (watching it now).

I have to say I do think Matthews teeth look strange. Like he’s had veneers/composites done and they’re too big for his mouth maybe? I honestly don’t think David’s had much work done, I just think he has aged

There was something about David's cheeks /eyes that looked a bit off to me but I couldn't say for definite if he'd had work done.

I think if it wasn't for David and Matt then the show would have been a bit dull. I didn't find the others had much to say.

Ahh I think Lisa adds a lot too it also? Not much from Jennifer Matt and Courtney though. I think he just has one of those faces that cheeks sag as they get older
