Friends #2 The one with the second thread

Was anyone else annoyed by how Monica didn't find Pete attractive at all, until she randomly kissed him and oh wow. That was it? Also willing to say yes if he asked her to marry him after 5 minutes of knowing him. She said she loved him too, but left as soon as he wanted to be the ultimate fighting champion.

The whole Pete storylines were terrible.

The massive tip cheque.
The buying the restaurant for her to run.
The UFC storyline, Pete a supposedly intelligent businessman willing to get himself physically destroyed like that, not surprised Monica left him. But it didn't feel in character of him either to pursue it
How Monica suddenly started being into him.
Willing to marry him.

Just a terrible set of storylines for me.

Yes, it was a storyline I didn't enjoy, especially the ultimate fighting champion aspect.

Ive always wondered what she did for a job after they broke up. She quit her job to run the restaurant that he bought and then they broke up. I also think the whole Ultimate Fighting Champion storyline was stupid. I’d have left him too.

Saw this on the iamthirtyaf Insta and the comments don’t disappoint 😂
