And (if there are any) don’t forget to take the paintings down from the wall to inspect “what lies beneath”. A contestant actually did do this in spite of having difficulties to remove them from the wall.

I didn’t know there are episodes on Netflix! Started watching last night & the first one featured Phillip Olivier (aka Tin head’ from Brookside). They put one of his calendars in the rooms, it was so cheesy but they were a good crowd!

One week always sticks in my mind - the Friend's hotel in Blackpool run by the man with the STARE. He couldn't take any criticism at all and was really creepy.

They always seem to have a lot of luggage for a one night stay. Does anyone know, is the week we see filmed on consecutive days, so they’re away from home for perhaps 10 days accounting for travel?

That would certainly explain why some of the contestants make so much fuss when there is no WiFi to keep up with their businesses while they're away.

It is filmed over the course of two weeks with gaps between each visit, on gap nights they stay independently away from the other contestants.

I’m so glad I found this thread! I’ve been off work ill all week and watching repeats. The earlier series are better for me cos they’re slightly more unhinged . The one with Charlotte Church’s parents and the mad Jekyll and Hyde couple who conned everyone is iconic.
