Four In A Bed - Channel 4

No I don't remember that one!

The best ones won this week, what a lovely clamping site, lovely hosts and a good brekkie!
Payment day was good, especially when Tina chucked back the payment, but her daughter, who was very level headed throughout accepted it.

I always appreciate seeing a refused payment! I assume that C4 give the contestants £1K or similar to fund the four visits?

Tina was comedy gold! One of the worst & best competitors but for all the wrong reasons 🤣 I wonder if she watched it back & saw that she actually did hold a grudge & “once it’s done” it isn’t done with her. Her daughter did seem to be more sensible at times, she obviously knows what her mother is like!!!

I know! Especially when she said about the heater being a trip hazard!!! I think you're right, her daughter knows what she's like!
I wonder if they've still got that b and b?

Oh I've never heard of that!

They still have it but one quick look at reviews on TripAdvisor & Google leaves you baffled as to how 🤯

Maybe like the money Come Dine With Me contestants get to host their night 🤔 Good point…

C4 cover all payments, to the extent of making up the shortfall if someone underpays. All that showing off and throwing money back in someone’s face is hysterical when you consider they’re not spending their own money 🤫
Didn't know this! Only thing it does if you don't accept payment is you get a lower percentage!
Makes good TV though when they throw the money back!

Is that the one the Irish couple ran? Was the lady called Bridie as I seem to recall it being a two Bridie week.
No. The Harbour Vista is one of the venues being repeated this week daily on Channel 4.
Half of this set was filmed before Covid, the second half was during Covid, there was a gap of about 8 months in between filming Venue 2 and Venue 3.

Aha, thank you. Yes, the Covid series were a bit strange weren't they? Actually when I think of it, they have substituted the group evening meals for drinks now - I wonder whether it's the cheaper option?

I'm baffled as to why the latest repeat series is trying to make out two entrants are in different places when the bay house is in Scarborough and the farrier is also.......in Scarborough, they keep saying cayton north Yorkshire but that's a village in Scarborough. It was obvious they were trying to make out it was a different place as the vintage fair place the Scarborough hosts took guests to is about a mile from the farrier 🤔

That's interesting to hear from someone who knows the area!

We've been a few times as we live in Yorkshire so do trips to the seaside regularly and we've been to the vintage fair place as it's on a caravan park we stayed at called the flower of May, when we were there we saw flyers for the farrier and sign posts for Cayton are almost outside the holiday park it's that near and is 100% Scarborough, made me chuckle when the farrier owners had to play along like they were in an area they didn't know......despite living there, Makes you wonder how much more is manipulated like that.
